Elissa was so thorough and creative in the ways she organized and labeled my pantry and the kids playroom. I was very very pleased with the results and would definitely hire her again and I recommend her to all my friends who have organizing needs!

After the above project , I hired On It Organizing to help me organize my pantry after moving into a new home. Again Elissa went above and beyond. She literally had to start from taking food out of boxes and look at every item to check for expiration. She organized any expired items by date and kept those separate and then went about organizing all the other items . Our pantry looks great and everything is in order and easy to find! I hired Elissa to organize my home workshop that has progressively gotten more and more cluttered since moving into the house in 1998. In fact, it was getting more and disorganized and inefficient with each year and got to the point where it was dangerous for my 4 grandkids to work with me. Elissa came in and immediately sorted through everything and she was able to recycle or dispose of unwanted/unneeded items immediately. She then used different sized clear bins and organized related items together with a descriptive label on the bin. I can now find things quicker and I have room to work easily and efficiently. Best of all, I can pass my love of working in the workshop with my grandkids in a safe and organized environment. It sounds cheesy, but having so many spaces in my home become organized with the help from Elissa with On It Organizing has truly been life-changing! Our family had been living with a lot of extra junk and clutter in some rather disorganized spaces for quite a while, with our basement taking the brunt of the clutter. We moved into our current home when I was 8 months pregnant with our first child, so let’s just say I didn’t totally have all the packing (or the unpacking, after moving in) as organized as I should have right out of the gate...and then, well, life seems to just happen, and there were always other more pertinent things on which to use my time and energy! Now, 2 kids later, the amount of stuff we’d accumulated was getting a bit out of control, and I never really had great organizational systems in place for any of the areas throughout the house. Cue: On It Organizing to the rescue! Elissa came in and overhauled a lot of my spaces. She helped me tackle my kitchen and pantry, toy bins and kids play areas, closets, my jewelry, the porch, our garage, and best of all- the entire basement, which needed the most time and TLC. She worked tirelessly together with me to declutter what was existing, help me determine what to keep, donate, or toss, and primarily used organizational bins that I already had on hand (as we as some additional bins she recommended that I purchased) to reorganize just about everything! I could go on and on about what a blessing this has been, but the biggest ones that I often reflect on is how much quicker these projects were able to get done with Elissa’s help (it would have taken me double or triple the amount of time to do the same job, not to mention the additional years this stuff might have sat before I actually got to addressing it), and then also what a huge burden this has lifted off my shoulders AND my mind. Elissa mentioned to me multiple times that she believes that when living with physical clutter and disorganization, it can also have a similar effect on the brain. I couldn’t agree more! I always had an increase in anxiety and a “jumbled brain” when I would enter areas of clutter throughout our house, and now so much of that has been reduced and it almost feels like a fog has been lifted and this burden is no longer looming over me. I 100% recommend Elissa and On It Organizing for whatever organizing need you might have!!
