Jo (owner) and the guys (Zackery and Randy) were great! On-time, quick proposal, was able to get an installation date within a week. They were professional, courteous, cleaned up everything. Highly recommend!

Knighthawk is extremely good.  They arrived on time and completed the install quickly.  They showed us how to use their services, which are very easy to learn through my cell phone and laptop. 

At the time of installation, they were professional, punctual and provided a great service.  About 3 years ago there was an attempted break-in in my house (I was not at home) and the system worked flawlessly and prevented a break-in.  About 2 years ago they switched to a different telephone monitoring service and possibly made other changes in their local support team, and service has been spottier since then.  The new phone monitoring service took about 2 weeks to get the order of calling done right (the phone numbers they should call in case the alarm is alerted).  It really shouldn't take multiple phone calls and the intervention of the Nighthawk people to get a list of phone numbers straight.  We did get there in the end.  

When I do call the phone service people with a question or concern, they are cold and don't seem to care about resolving whatever the problem is: in this case, I've twice tripped the system by accident and they haven't called any of the numbers on file.  It may have been that I turned off the alarm before it sent a signal.  They indicated that I need to talk to the Nighthawk people, who I have found hard to reach in non-business hours.  

 In January, I received a call and email from Nighthawk indicating that the battery on one sensor was low and providing directions on how to replace the battery.  I thought, "Wow, how proactive - this is actually helpful."  I followed the directions to a T but they did not match the keyboard/system.  Thus, I had one day where the system wasn't working at all.  Joe Castro, one of the owners, had provided his cell number to call as a resource - I left a message at about 7pm on a Saturday and he called the next morning and talked me through the fix.  

Joe was very thorough in explaining the basics of home security, describing the systems/options, and helping us to reduce the overall cost without sacrificing our priorities. He did not pressure us to sign a contract at our first meeting (which was common with other companies; we brought in four companies total). He was prompt at answering follow-up questions. Once we reviewed the final quote, installation was performed within 2 days. Our system was installed in early July, and we have had no false alarms, and have the peace of mind knowing our children, home and garage are protected.
