NEW ART SALON

It was a great experience since I was trying to find someone/someplace to cut my hair since I just moved to St. Paul

I needed a cut and color so I searched Angie's List for a recommendation. New Art Salon was one of the top listings so I called and made an appointment with Amanda. She is so nice, she listens to what I want, offers suggestions, creates a nice style and the color is exactly what I wanted. I've been back 3 times,

My experience at New Art Salon was great. I called and got in at the last minute. I was happy to see a dog at the salon. She really made me feel at home in a very comfy atmosphere. Peter, the stylist who cut and highlighted my hair, listened to my descriptions of what I liked and didn't like and created a hairstlye that has impressed me. He did a great job matching the color I wanted and was able to soften the blunt look of my thick hair. I am very happy with my overall experience and would recommend this salon to others.

Roger really knows his craft. Plus, he listens to what you want and doesn't try to persuade you to do the latest thing if you don't want it. Even though my desired haircut isn't high fashion, he did what I wanted and still made my hair look wonderful. In my opinion, that's real talent!

It's always a warm welcome arriving at the salon. They have fresh coffee waiting for you and comfy chairs with lots of good magazines if you decide to arrive early. It smells nice in the salon. The receptionist is always pleasant. There are several stylists that work here, but I like Carrie the best. She listens to what you want, but will make adjustments to make you look even better. She really knows her craft. When I walk out the door, I feel like a million bucks!
