This was the second time that the Molly Maids cleaners came to my house. They seemed to be in a hurry and their work showed it. First of all I expected them after 1pm and they showed up around 11:30 am. Good thing I was home! The younger woman who cleaned the master bath never touched the floor. We had some work done by a plumber and it needed some cleaning. She never even swept it say anything about mopping it. In the kitchen I found the older woman dumping crumbs from the toaster into the side of the sink opposite of where the disposal is and I had to point that out to her.  She left my kitchen counters sticky too. When she vacuumed I had to tell her to do the furniture which they didn't do the first time.  When they had left I found popcorn under an end table which told me she had never even looked there to vacuum. I do not know what they use to clean the wood floors. They are clean, but do not shine. They have this dull film left on them. The cleaners also have this habit of putting rugs back on the wet floors so they dry stuck to the floor. I wish I had checked Angie's List before hiring them because I wouldn't have wasted my time. I am now looking for someone else to clean my house. They definitely have not done the job for what we have paid them.

I have used the services of Molly Maid. They are here right now. I have them here every other week or occasionally and it is like about 140 for the job. They clean my house, vacuum, dust, wash work and do the bathrooms. They don't do the laundry or anything like that. My impressions about the services that they provide for me are very good. They do a nice thorough job. They are fast, that's one thing that I really like, that they are very quick. When they do the cleaning, they do it thoroughly and they do it fast. They bring all of their equipment and their supplies so I don't have to supply anything. When they leave, they show up with everything when they leave with all their equipment. I have been very happy with them. I have had them for all about 2 years now. They are very thorough in their cleaning. They are competitive in their pricing. They show up on time except for today. I actually added them. I asked for their service last Friday and they never turn you down but I did wait an extra hour and a half to get them today. If I book them on a regular basis they are always there, always on time. I think they are punctual. They are always punctual if they are scheduled regularly. That was kind of my fault because I randomly called them Friday and then asked for them today. They said yes, they never turn you down but I just had to wait a little longer than they told me it would be to get here. I think the pricing is good. I would definitely use them in the future.

The cleaners whom I have met are very pleasant. I have a dog that they are very flexible and sweet with. I am not usually home when they clean, however. Molly Maid had a very detailed list of tasks that would be performed on their website and while they do some things well each time, there are many other things not done or done poorly. I just assume that it takes a while for them to find their way in a new home and to negotiate expectations with a new client, so I've been pretty patient. HOWEVER, I think I've hit a wall after way too many broken promises and failures at communicating appropriately. Both Reyna and Jeff are very pleasant to talk to, but then it gets tricky... I've called and told Reyna I was ill and needed to cancel -- and still had strangers let themselves into my house when I was sick and in my nightclothes. I've called Reyna to tell her days ahead of time that I had a highly confidential meeting that couldn't be disturbed and heard her absolute assurance that the crew wouldn't come until after that time -- only to have them let themselves into the living room where the meeting was going on and insist that they were going to start cleaning somewhere else in the house. The last couple of cleanings were really bad, so I discussed it with Reyna again -- but with the same problems repeated anyway, even though I did leave a copy of my email to her on the counter as she requested. I've had difficulties getting responses to either voicemail or email communications -- and had to initiate communicate again after a week of not hearing back. I asked for either Reyna or Jeff to come with the crew the last time, which Reyna agreed to. However, she wouldn't specify a time so I took the day off; she did promise that I would receive a call 30 minutes before they were going to come. In fact, I received no such call (one more unsettling time of having strangers let themselves into my home when I was in my robe) and neither Reyna nor Jeff came. When I called, I learned that a family matter had come up for Jeff -- but I still couldn't and can't understand why someone didn't communicate with me about that! Jeff thinks we can work this out and has promised to come out after Christmas, but it has been 3 days since I left some suggestions of dates on their line and I've heard nothing back.
I would love to see all this get worked out, as I would appreciate a reliable service and be happy for their success. I will definitely update this review -- hopefully with news of good service recovery.

I thought that they did a very good job. The first time they were here I was very shocked that they worked to get all of the hard water spots out from under the faucets. It was about 10 years of hard water spots. I am just happy with their work in general.

Overall at first I was content with the company and the housecleaning. But then they became less dependable on showing up on time, and on their cleaning practices. Things only went from bad to worse, soon items were missing/broken on a number of occasions. I had brought up the situation to the supervisor (the cleaners hadn't), but it continued to happen. More items were missing/damaged and the situation on replacement of item(s) has not yet been resolved in a fair/timely manner. I am still waiting to be compensated for my losses, the supervisor said "He would get back to me". Needless to say I did not continue with their services. After the extra hassles I have had to deal with, I would not recommend their services.

"EDGE OF A CARPET GOT CAUGHT IN VACUUM POWERHEAD. PAID CUSTOMER VALUE OF CARPET AFTER LOOKING IT UP ONLINE. IT DID TAKE A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO REIMBURSE THE CUSTOMER FOR THE RUG. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF ANY MISSING ITEMS, ALTHOUGH WE DID BREAK A FEW. IN EACH INSTANCE OF BREAKAGE BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION, THE CUSTOMER WAS COMPENSATED, EITHER BY REPLACING THE ITEM, OR GIVING DISCOUNTED CLEANING SERVICE AFTER DISCUSSING THE OPTION WITH THE CUSTOMER."
