They did put on new tips but I could barely tell the suede had been cleaned (whether it couldn't be completely cleaned I don't know but if not, they should have told me and lowered my expectations). The repair on the heel was minimal at best and I could've done at home with superglue for $3.00. If they couldn't help with my request, they should have told me and I wouldn't have expected much more than I received.

What stood out was the efficiency and excellence of repair.

from the first phone call to Mike's shoe repair the experience was great.  The price was fair and he had the work done in record time.  Thanks for a job well done.  I would highly recommend this shop.

Mike said repairs should only take a few days...He called in three days when the shoes were ready. The shoes had also been polished and buffed, and looked better than when I had brought them in!

After I wore the shoes about two weeks, the glue let loose on the new heels. Mike, without question, made the additional necessary repairs at no charge. Again, the turnaround time was approximately three days, and he called when the shoes were ready. (To be fair to Mike, with man-made soles the heels cannot be nailed on as they can on a leather sole. So a second try with gluing the heels brought the desired results.)

I have such a great expereince I went back within one week.

I brought my favorite sandals to Mike's Shoe Repair, as I had worn them so much the strap was nearly broken. Everything was repaired perfectly, in the time they promised. Now I'm ready for this next summer!

It went great. They were willing to do the rush order and didnt charge any thing extra. I have used Mike's for years and have been absolutely thrilled pith the work they do.

In addition to the requested work Mikes recondonditioned uppers along with other minor repairs. These shoes are out of production right now so I am really happy to have them back in close to new condition. Dropped them on a Thursday, Mikes promised to have them done in a week. Mikes called the next Monday to say the shoes were ready, four days after drop off.

The overall experience was great. Mike was friendly and polite. The prices are reasonable, the work was done timely and Mike offered tips and advice to keep the shooes looking good. The cost to have the shoes cleaned up is far less than purchasing new ones. I am happy to be wearing my favorite shoes again!

Dropped shoes at COB on Saturday. They were ready Tuesday evening, fully shined as well as repaired. Basically I got a new pair of quality leather shoes for $53.

They ALWAYS do a great job, and it's a bargain.
