MIDWEST CENTER FOR PERSONAL & FAMILY DEVELOPMENT

I was really impressed by the availability of the providers.  My primary health provider was able to make me a next-day appointment at the Midwest Center during a crisis, and it seems to be something they are able to do on a regular basis.  The office is in a central location between Northeast Minneapolis and St. Paul, and is large, private and comfortable.  I can tell that they care about customer service, because I received a feedback form for Dr. Steineck in my e-mail the day after my first appointment, and it asked questions that help them better match therapy providers to client needs. The only extremely minor snafu is that I was charged the wrong co-pay on my second visit, and have to submit a second receipt to my FSA, but it was very minor and I'm not too concerned.  It was corrected immediately.  I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing therapy to begin as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, the clinic does not have anyone taking new clients for medication management at this time, but I believe they intend to recruit new providers in the near future.

Marilyn was extremely easy to talk with and I gained much insight from talking with her.  I would highly recommend anyone to her. 

They are nice whenever they answer the phone or make appointments. They keep their appointments. You are charged if you miss an appointment. Sometimes their aren't enough people at the desk.
