I was told to put money down on the truck to hold it, I was told if I don't want the truck they would give me my check back. The communication was horrible. I have never been so insulted, talked down to, and treated like an idiot than I had with my experience with the sales staff at Midway Ford. If I could have dealt with a professional sales staff they might have sold a truck. There was nothing wrong with truck they had for sale, I refuse to do business with people who won't listen to the customer and are disrespectful. I walked, told them to mail my deposit check back. They cashed it, and re issued a check from the dealership. Who does that? Midway Ford.

I should have known better than to go to this Dealership as they quoted me an estimate and charged me more than the estimate without my approval once before.  This time they gave me an estimate for a diagnostic charge/fee that was TWICE as much as a nearby competitor.  I would have spent an extra $65 that was not needed.  I even sent a note to the manager about the first time they did not honor the written estimate and did not ask for my authorization for the dollar change and received no reply or acknowledgment.  I will avoid using Roseville Midway Ford in the future.

The service station was supposed to diagnose and address the ?service engine? light that came-on on the dashboard of my ford escape (2003). Please note the car was fully operational with no sign of any trouble except for the light. Also please note that the car was fully serviced on the periodic basis at this same station for the last 5 -7 years. They diagnosed it to be faulty ignition coil. I asked them to repair it and do an oil change that was due.  They called later and said that the car also needed vacuum tubes or pipes or something and that would be extra? I said great. Please make all the required repairs. Once the car was ready and I was ready to pick it up, the mechanic (Nick) said that there is an oil light that is coming on now. I said that the car never had that come on before. He said it is probably nothing and that I should just watch it. I picked up the car, brought it home and did not start it for a couple of days. When I started the car in my garage two days later a very loud noise started to come from under the hood and the engine light and oil light came on again. As I started driving the car it died in the middle of the road. I restarted it and I called the station, the mechanic (Nick) said it might just be a reset of the ignition coil. I said to him that I am taking it back to their shop.  I drove it in and asked them to look over the work that they did to see if they did something incorrectly or incompletely which has caused the car to die and all the lights to come on. Two days later they called me and told me that it wasn?t anything they did but instead my car had total engine failure due to sludge build up and would require a complete engine replacement.  I asked why was it not diagnosed with this and instead they diagnosed ignition coil or how was it missed on all the numerous service appointments. The did not answer and kept on telling me that the ignition coil needed replacement. They said the engine replacement would be around $6K. I said it would not be economical and requested that they release the car back to me. At which point they said that the car is not drivable at all because they tore down the engine. I asked that they release the car to me in the same condition that I brought it in. They refused saying it would take too long to put it together instead they put all the parts in the box and on the floor in the back seat. I requested a refund for the faulty repair but the manager refused. They offered to give me credit instead of the refund if I did the engine replacement with them. I asked to speak to the owner on three separate occasions but the manager at first stalled and at the end refused. I had to order a tow truck to get my car away from them.

Although not going above and beyond the expected, Midway Ford provided services in a timely, professional manner. They estimated a 45 minute wait time, which they pretty much nailed. They reviewed the inspection they did and noted that my battery charged a little low, but that they weren't concerned immediately, but advised that I keep an eye on it, especially when winter approaches. They did not push me in anyway to have additional services done to the vehicle. An overall positive experience.

We had spent several months looking for a car to replace our 13-year-old mid-size sedan.  After narrowing the field down to a couple of models we began a serious search.  Steve Lecher at Midway helped me find a vehicle which precisely met the criteria I had in mind without any of the high pressure or general disdain I have experienced at some dealerships.  We found a used 2102 Ford Fusion and ageed on a price.  The vehicle was ready when promised and the entire process was very smooth.  But the folks at Midway really shone the day after the sale.  Less than 24 hours (and about 25 miles) later, the tire pressure warning light came on.  I went back into the dealership expecting a tire just needed some air.  The service technicians looked at it and felt the tire pressure was sufficiently low that further investigation was warranted.  They removed the tire and foiund a puncture and a piece of metal indside.  They immediately replaced the tire with a new one with no additional cost to me.  A great example of superior customer service and a story I have already shared with a number of firends.  I'll certainly start my shopping there the next time I am in the market for a car..

The price I paid was inclusive of taxes.  My experience with them was very good.  I went in there and I didn't feel like there was any high pressure.  I told them what I was looking for.  There were certain things that I wanted.  They did an inventory and checked to see what they had.  I did a test drive.  I got what I thought was a good quote of a price.  I was very happy with them.  I have had other people tell me that I got a very good deal too.  They said that the vehicle would be ready at a certain time and when I went there to pick it up, it was ready.  I hate being pressured and I didn't feel the least bit pressured.

I was not looking forward to buying a new car; in fact, I was dreading it. I had already dealt with several pushy sales people when I decided to check out Fords at Midway Ford. They were great. John in the Internet dept. made the experience enjoyable. They were honest with me about the issues with the various models I looked at, and when I wanted a vehicle with custom features, they helped me locate one at a dealer several hundred miles away at no cost. This was no pressure, no hassle, no haggle. I appreciate that. I had done research on what the price of the car should be, and the price they quoted me was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them, esp. John and the Internet team, and I look forward to having my car serviced there for years to come. Thanks, Mike Reszler

I had been driving Toyota Camrys for the past 20 years, so buying a Ford was a big departure for me. I went to the dealer alone the first time, and Hector was my salesman. He did a great job of explaining things to me, answering all of my questions, and not pressuring me to buy. When I was ready to buy, I went in with my husband. We met with Hector's supervisor, John, since Hector had to leave earlier. John also did a great job of answering questions and was low pressure. He focused on me instead of my husband, which was good because it was my car. After making a deal, I met with John Tichenor (a different John) to sign paperwork. He was extremely personable. He gave me a gift card for dinner at a local restaurant in addition to a free oil change. Since purchasing the car, I have been in for service a couple of times and have received great care and attention. They really value their customers. I will continue to go there for service even though they are not the closest to my home.

First, I was able to have my spare tire put on for free because Emergency Road Side Service came with my car (which I bought at Midway Ford.) When I brought the car in, they did not have a matching tire in stock. They offered to go pick one up from another supplier a few miles away, and they said the tire would cost about $30 less this way. It took them a couple of hours to get my tire and another hour to put it on the car. While I was waiting, John Tichenor stopped by and talked to me about my experience. He had also been involved in me buying the car. He offered to send me home in a loaner car for free for the night, but I opted to wait for them to finish the repair. After a while, John came in with the mechanic and said he was going to cover the cost for me. All of my experiences with John and the Midway Ford staff have been positive. They are a family-run dealership, and they value service.

I can't recall what the exact part was, but they could not get it anywhere in three states, and it was a fairly common part. Then, when it did arrive, they had ordered the wrong one and had to get another. There was also an issue with how the guy put it in and they had to fix that. It took a whole week. They did give me a rental car for two days at first, and then I had to go back and sign more paperwork to keep the car for the rest of the week. The only decent staff I dealt with was the rental car guy. To sum it up, it should have taken one day to fix and overall it was a very bad experience.

They have many technicians. I always ask for someone who has good diagnostic skills so that he does it right the first time. I know whom to ask for what kind of service. I am not happy with their price but I do not think they can do much about it. They have a mechanic waiting whenever I drive in after informing them.
