They did it for the price I was quoted and my car works fine. Reliable and can make an appointment. They stand behind their work and make good on their warranties. They seem to be honest. I'm happy with what they do. When I make an appointment, they are prompt to get it serviced and done.

This was done for my daughter and I dealt long distance with Midas. I explained to Seth, the manager, that I wanted the car inspected for a long road trip, oil change and some suspension questions. In the shop he could find nothing wrong but he called asking for more clarification. Then he test drove the vehicle over roads that I tried to explain (rough but not pot holes). He found the squeaking and went back to the shop to determine what was happening. Nothing was specifically wrong but that several areas could be contributing to the squeaks. He explained what could be done and how much but felt money would be better spent to wait and see if the issue became worse. He explained the worse case scenario as well. When my daughter picked up the car, he explained again everything to her. She felt he talked to her, not down at her. He made her feel very comfortable and she was please with the results.
I felt he was trying to save me money as well as fix the car. He ended up only charging for the oil change because he didn't have to fix anything else (his words). If you are looking for an honest mechanic, this is the place.

Repairs were done on time and results were excellent. Cost of repair was also very satisfactory.

I know the people and they deal real good with my car.

Went in for periodic maintenance, including an oil change. The courtesy check included with the oil change covered all of the points outlined by the manufacturer, including tire rotation. My air filter was replaced w/o an additional labor charge. This location also honors the oil change coupon for synthetic oil changes as well (it becomes a $10 off coupon). Given that I use synthetic oil and my car's air filter is a more expensive model, the price was great. Also, their oil change card gives me a free oil change after purchasing only two services.

In terms of customer service, Seth and Dan are always great at fully explaining the service they feel is necessary without pressuring you to get it done now. They provide a realistic timeline of how long you can go without if money is an issue at that time. I trust them with all of my service needs!

I called four shops for estimates, Midas was the cheapest and most convenient in terms of when they could get me in the shop. I took the car to them and they had me in their bay fairly quickly, the inspection revealed what I thought it would and I proceeded with the repair. There was no issues with the work, they did it quickly and as far as I can tell they did good work. They also provided a lifetime warranty on brake parts, so if I choose to use them again I will just pay labor for the brake job. In all I was very happy with the job they did and the money I saved by using them.

They were very responsive and they even stayed late to do the tire swap because it was kind of an emergency situation. Every time we have been there they have been extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and punctual. I compared their price to a couple of places and their price was right in the ballpark.

They are good. Their prices are good and they are on time. Whatever they quote you is in the ballpark, so you don't end up with an inflated price.

Great! Did not charge extra labor for replacement of other worn belts, as they were already in there. Seth is fantastic! Price was comparable to going to the dealer for the work. Seth is great to work with, he is very knowledgeable and his customer service is A+!

I had been in before, and the guys said the brakes were fine for now but I probably would need them replaced at 40,000 miles. So, I went back. They looked at the brakes and told me the brakes were still good so they wouldn't recommend replacing them. Then they said they would show me. So, they finished the tire rotation and balance, and I was on my way.

I drive in from south Minneapolis to get my car serviced here (I used to live in Roseville). They're punctual, exceedingly polite, and willing to take you back and show you exactly what they found on your car (for example, exactly how old ARE the brakes on my car?). They even keep zero weight oil on hand specifically for my car (a hybrid).
