L&L KNEW THE SINGLE COMPANY WAS HAVING PROBLEMS MUCH EARLIER THAN MY POINTING OUT MY PROBLEM TO THEM. THEY HAD HELPED OTHER HOMEOWNERS FILE CLAIMS WITH THE SHINGLE COMPANY PRIOR TO THE COMPANY ACTUALLY GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND THEY PERSONALLY CONFIRMED IT BY INSPECTING MY HOUSE, THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS. WHEN I CALLED THEM AND GOT THEM TO ANSWER THE PHONE, I WAS MISLED BY OMISSION ABOUT HOW THEY INTENDED TO HANDLE MY PROBLEM. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD HONOR MY WARRANTY AND REPLACE MY ROOF. L&L FINALLY ADMITTED THEY WOULD REPLACE MY ROOF FOR A SLIGHT DISCOUNT, WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS CONTACTING A LAWYER. THEY DID FINALLY HELP ME GET SOME DOCUMENTATION TO TRY TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE SHINGLE COMPANY. THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY RESPONSIBILITY. THE WARRANTEES IN MY CONTRACT WITH THEM HAVE BEEN WORTHLESS.
