Both times they responded quickly and arrived promptly. The first time, it turned out that the original installation by previous owners many years before had been improperly done, with the result that the thermostat faceplate had melted! They replaced the thermostat and reinstalled the system properly. The second time they replaced the very old hoses to the humidifier and checked and cleaned the central air-conditioning unit. While they recommended we replace the decades-old water heater soon, they did not pressure us. The estimates were accurate, and the work completed quickly and thoroughly. Every person we spoke with was helpful and pleasant.

Service technician was polite, professional, helpful and punctual. Only problem was that the price was much higher than I planned. They had a coupon to waive the $89 service charge but they charged me $189 per hour on top of that. No troubleshooting as to whether there was a leak and no guarantees for my $522 paid. This seems excessive. What do other companies charge for R-22 and a service call?

It went better than I expected. The technician explained that if I would hose the exterior of the a/c unit, it would prevent freezing up of the furnace. It would also make the a/c unit cool more efficiently. I like using Krinkie because they consistently provide excellent and timely service. They always explain the fees and give me the option of purchasing or not purchasing services or repairs, with no pressure.

Repairman was excellent Found the problem right away. It turns out he was one of the people that worked on the original installation of the furnace 11 years ago. He remembered also adjusting the airflow in the house after the installation to stop a problem with resonance. That original contractor apparently sold his business to this current (Krinke) contractor, and employed some of those same people. Good Deal.

Dave Krinkie gave us the estimate for this work and performed the follow up. The worker was on time and very courteous and professional.
There was one issue of the exact vent type that was installed not being the type I had ordered. Dave was quick to respond to the issue (turns out an admin at the office apparently misread his order when entering it into the system) and even though I decided after speaking with him that what was done is probably the best option based on what my husband and I have planned for future remodel of the bathroom, Dave offered to come to our house and change the vent/fitting to what we originally discussed and ordered whenever we are ready to remodel our bathroom, regardless of when that is!
We are extremely happy with the service we received and will most definitely continue to use Krinkie for general HVAC maintenance and repair as well as special projects in the future.
