Would not recommend I would put zero stars if I could. This place was contracted through Xcel Energy MN HomeSmart program and never even bothered to do their job properly. My AC damper went out and they installed the wrong damper. Called them three different times to come look at my AC and they still cannot do their job or diagnose this issue. I had to call another company to properly diagnose issue. Technicians seem to be straight out of high school would not recommend. Poor customer service and unexperienced technicians would not recommend

The only positive thing I have to say is the Heat is working now. From the two different techs that came out too the people in the office, every conversation was met with rudeness or attitude. We are very disappointed with there lack of customer service. It felt like we were a burden and not a customer.

I called Xcel on a Saturday, they couldn't send anyone until Monday, which ended up being Tuesday. They confirmed the inducer motor (I believe) was the issue and fixed it for no cost. That was on the second visit and they were very early (gave a time estimate of 8AM until 12) and showed up around 9AM. I actually wasn't there, so another person handled the transaction for me and it went very well. The furnace works great now.

Kand B was the company sent out by the Xcel HomeSmart plan to diagnose my furnace which had stopped working. I called HomeSmart at 10:30pm and within the hour Kand B had called back and arranged to come out immediately. The service tech found that the damper motor was not working, arranged to have a replacement part installed and provided us with space heaters. The part arrived and was installed two days later and the furnace was once again working. The service tech and other staff were great to work with, kind and patient in answering my questions.

They were terrible to work with although they were a subcontractor of Xcel and not hired by me. As Xcel did not evidence any interest in the installation I was forced to work directly with Kand B who would not return phone calls and was rude when they would speak with me. Because of their lack of speed in the installation of our furnace the work on our home was delayed at least 6 weeks at significant expense and inconvenience.

Scheduling is always difficult. I don't know if this is the company's fault or Xcel's fault, but Kand B frequently is late calling to set up a service date after Xcel has sent in the work order to them. I usually have to call Kand B myself after a 3-4 week wait. For this reason I would not hire them outside of an Xcel sponsored service unless they changed this practice.

OUR EXPERIENCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD. THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE AT THE TIME (ONLY A 2-HOUR WINDOW) THAT THEY SAY, WILL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WE HAVE, and WILL CHANGE THE FILTERS ALSO.

K B FIRST CAME OUT THROUGH XCEL HOME SMART. THE FIRST REPAIR PERSON WAS VERY HELPFUL AND TOLD US WE NEEDED TO REPLACE OUR HUMIDIFIER ON THE FURNACE. WE WAITED TO DO THE REPAIR A FEW MONTHS AND A SECOND REPAIR PERSON CAME OUT FOR THE REPAIR, BUT DID NOT HAVE THE PART. I INSISTED ON NOT PAYING FOR THE VISIT UNLESS THE REPAIR WORK WAS COMPLETED AT THE SAME TIME, SECOND REPAIR PERSON CAME BACK A WEEK LATER AND WAS VERY RUDE. I CALLED K B TO LET THEM KNOW I WOULD LIKE TO SETTLE THIS MATTER BEFORE WRITING TO ANGIE'S LIST OF THIS POOR EXPERIENCE. THEY LISTENED TO ME, BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK. THE WORK THAT WAS COMPLETED WAS DONE VERY WELL, BUT I FELT POORLY TREATED BY THE SECOND REPAIR PERSON AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF THAT EXPERIENCE.
