Jodi did a great job giving us the expertise and responsiveness that we needed for our Realtor. Jodi started by listening to what we wanted in a house. Together, we came up with a plan for looking at houses. We ended up looking at about 20 different houses. When we looked at houses, Jodi gave great tips on "red flags" to watch out for. When we decided on a home to purchase, Jodi was thorough with the purchase agreement and negotiations. She gave updates in a timely manner, which was especially helpful for the stressful negotiation stage. During our inspection, there was a structural issue found with the house. The inspector wasn't able to specify what the cost would be to repair the issue. At that point, we were unsure how to proceed. Jodi suggested we contact a structural engineer, and we agreed. Jodi handled the logistics of scheduling the evaluation within the tight schedule we had after the inspection. Because the evaluation had to be on a weekday, Jodi met the engineer at the property for us. This was a great relief to us, since we both had busy work weeks. The engineer gave us the information we needed for both negotiating leverage and details for repair. Jodi also gave us great contractor contacts for working on various jobs on the house, including the fix on the structural issue. They've done superb work. We are also using Jodi's contacts for work on our condo. Jodi has given great advice on how to stage the condo for selling. Jodi really took the initiative at every stage of home buying and selling.
