Amazing service! They did an unpleasant and difficult job, and came in 10% under the estimated cost! Thorough, professional, and helpful, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards too. Highly, highly recommended!

I cannot say enough great things about Tim. I called them on Friday afternoon and they came out to give me a quote on a Monday afternoon. Tim had enough time in his schedule and his bid was significantly better than two other bids I got, so he did the work the same day. Very happy with how long it took, the cost, and how careful Tim was in my home. I will definitely call Jake the Plumber again!

Tim kept me informed as work was being done. This was a fix that another plumber had previously done, incorrectly.

Everything was great from start to finish. Called at 11:30 a.m. and was promised service between 1:30 and 2:30. Received a call back within the hour to let me know it would be 2. Stu arrived promptly. He explained how the cost for the visit worked and got my consent before proceeding. He advised against spending time/money on the kitchen faucet. The problem with the toilet was small, so I ended up paying for a full hour that was only 15 minutes, but that's pretty standard in my experience. Stu was personable and gave me some great plumbing tips as he worked. Will definitely use Jake's again.

Came prepared for the type of toilet and problem I had and quickly, efficiently fixed both problems. Took the time to explain to me what he was doing, which was greatly appreciated.

Very nice job explaining work to be done upfront, and good execution. Boiler system has been operating perfectly ever since. I would recommend this team again and will be sure to hire them in the future.

Our hot water heater was 14 years old and on the fritz. I did some online research and picked out a few high input heaters that I liked. I then called Jake and hadn't used them before. They were quick to respond and give reasonable estimates on the heaters that I had researched. They were more responsive, helpful and cheaper than a couple other plumbing estimates that I received. We decided to go with them and set up a time for the replacement. The company had to redo some of the old plumbing to fit code, but did a great job and cleaned everything up nicely when they were done. Overall, a very good experience and I would absolutely use them again.

They were very responsive and were able to replace water heater and remove old water heater within 24 hours of first phone call. Very happy with their work and will be using them again for all our plumbing needs in the area.

Quick response, thorough explanation of the problem and solution, provided an estimate before beginning the work (broken down by time, parts, etc.) that exactly matched the final cost.  John took the time to answer all of my questions, providing both technical and practical information.  I will definitely call Jake the Plumber for any future plumbing needs.

Same day service was provided.  Laundry faucet was replaced with the parts I already owned.  John was professional and courteous. Would definitely use Jake the Plumber in the future.

Very well.  Stu was on time and honest.  I had originally called as we were smelling sewage sporadically.  He checked to make sure all of the traps were working appropriately and ruled out potentially serious problems.  He told me what it could be but, instead of undertaking a potentially expensive and time-consuming investigation told me what I could do to try and locate the problem.  While it is temporarily unpleasant to smell sewage, the work and money that would need to go into resolving the problem (removing drywall to access vents) is likely not worth it.  The other reason I called was to fix a whole home humidifier and this was fixed quickly without issue.  I had mentioned that I had noticed some water leaking from my water heater which he warned is a sign the water heater could malfunction (it was a 17 year-old water heater).  Rather than test my luck I decided to have this replaced which was done that day.  Stu wasn't suppose to but he replaced a couple of valves that weren't up to code for no charge.  Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely be using Jake the Plumber in the future.

We called?Jake the Plumber?on a Saturday afternoon. We left a voicemail and didn't expect to hear anything back until Monday. We received a call back within the hour. The on-call plumber,?John said he could be?to our house in 90 minutes.?He asked?us to send a picture of the problem to help?him ensure that he brought the right parts. He arrived an hour later with his little shoe covers and a clean uniform (Love the logo...?their tagline is "Don't Sleep With A Drip!)? The contractor who installed our new stone countertops was not able to re-install the garbage disposal. I guess our new stainless steal sink is deeper than the old one, causing the pipes not to line up properly. The plumber took a few measurements and informed us that in order to install the disposal, we would have to open the wall under the sink and lower the pipe in the wall. The other option was to remove the disposal and install a regular stainless steal sink drain. We don't really use the disposal much a and it smells bad, so we?opted to have it removed and go with the regular drain, which was?a lot cheaper as well. Jake?The Plumber did an excellent job, they were very punctual and pleasant to deal with. They explained the fee structure and what?they were going to do... in terms that made it easy for us to understand.?The Price was very fair.? It's just my daughter and I? (and our two dogs... who don't take very kindly to strangers in the house. John was patent with Bell... our barking dog...?and took extra time to let her get comfortable around him. Nice touch. After he was done, we asked if he could take a quick look at our furnace which seemed to be struggling and making strange noises. He took his time to go down to the basement and quickly figured out the problem... a clogged filter and dirty fan blower. We had an extra filter, which he quickly installed and reached in and cleaned out the blower. It solved the problem. Thank you. It's refreshing to have a such a pleasant experience with a plumber. What started off as a problem, turned into a very positive experience. We have a new plumber, that we trust... and like. I hope we?don't need to call a plumber again anytime soon... but if we do... we?will definitely?call Jake The Plumber again.

The repair man was extremely pleasant and efficient. He had to come back with a specific part, but because he was already going there for something else didn't create an additional trip charge - which saved us a few bucks.
Our 30-year old boiler is functioning like a champ again!
