On a Sunday afternoon, Adam opened up the showroom for our personal appointment. He listened to what we were considering, and took into account that we have kids, dogs and cats - and we definitely needed heavy duty carpet. The carpet finally arrived after about four weeks, as this was made especially for me and it was absolutely beautiful and in perfect condition. A VERY, VERY, VERY high grade of carpet that was recently installed by one of the their preferred independent installers and they too, did an outstanding job. I will write a detailed report on them under a separate report. Getting back to Jack Rubenstein and Company, once you know EXACTLY what want and at least contact three or four other retailers on Angie's List, simply CALL this company and ask for their BEST rates. This isn't complicated! I don't think they made a big profit on this sale, but I do know, I saved thousands of dollars! If I would have purchased at this big national furniture/carpet retailer the price tag was well over $24,000! This FABRICA carpet is a premier carpet that will hold the test of time and is so extremely luxurious and well made. I would rather spend a few dollars more than buying good looking cheap merchandise and have it wear out in a year or two and buying HIGH quality is cheaper in the long run, and I stick to quality whenever I make a purchase. I would suggest you find out exactly what you want, shop around to many retailers THEN call Jack Rubenstein Wholesale Carpet. Not a big firm, but they will price it right for you. Every thing about this transaction met and exceeded my expectations. I don't know if they can buy cars for people any longer, but when it comes to carpet, I saved big, big money. thank goodness I did NOT pay what the original furniture/carpet retailer had quoted me. My phase two is to carpet the other rooms in the house and there is NO question, I will order from them again. Use them with confidence and I hope the next time YOU find a plumber, carpenter, etc, you will let the world know about it too,
