Flowers: The flowers were absolutely beautiful, I loved them. Many guest commented that they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they'd ever seen (and judging by the number of photos on facebook, most really appreciated the artistry!). Peggy and Nancy really listened to what I liked and created gorgeous bouquets and arrangements that far exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier. I would definitely use them again for any event and strongly recommend them.
Wedding Planner:You should hire them immediately. I don't know what I would have done without them, but I do know the wedding would not have been as lovely and I would have been considerably more stressed! Peggy and Nancy combine the warmth of your favorite aunt with incredible attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and an amazing eye for aesthetic. 
I really appreciated their flexibility; they will do as little or as much as you want, and they charge per hour, so they would be able to help you at any budget level. I felt that their rates were very reasonable, especially since they work as a duo. 
I was able to turn over all the details to them with complete confidence.
We wanted a skating party for all of our guests the night before the wedding instead of a regular rehearsal dinner and they planned it all; a buffet dinner for 120 at a local rink, including children, with ice-skating afterwards. They decorated the eating area beautifully, ordered and oversaw the food, cleaned up afterwards. It was wonderful to be able to just walk into the party without having to worry about any of the details! If you are currently planning a wedding, you know what an enormous gift it is to be able to turn over any aspect of the event to reliable, conscientious, and enthusiastic people.
I really appreciated being able to combine two services (florist and wedding planner) since the number of vendors needed when planning a wedding is a little overwhelming; and they are truly excellent in both areas.
They also had excellent recommendations for other vendors.
My parents, parents-in-law, sister (matron of honor) all live far away, so I loved having these two to help me talk through/plan all the myriad details. However, even if you aren't in this situation, I recommend hiring them.  It was great to have professionals to turn to rather than friends and family so that all of your loved onces can really relax and enjoy themselves instead of worrying about last minute details.

We hadn't thought about having a wedding planner because we both had significant personal experience planning and executing fairly large events in our professional lives. However, the creativity and quality of their floral arrangements caught our attention on Angie's List so we scheduled a consultation. After our first meeting, it was clear that they would be an incredible asset to a very busy mid-life couple planning a wedding amidst quite a few professional and family demands. They were absolutely delightful to work with - prompt, thoughtful, great ideas, flexible, great humor, clear and professional. The flowers were stunning. We told them our color scheme and general budget and they came up with creations that were overwhelmingly beautiful. They hadn't done a Jewish-oriented wedding before so decorating the huppah was a new challenge and it was gorgeous. They integrated our ideas into the overall planning and improved on them with creative ideas that reflected their depth of experience. They laid out options and initiated suggestions that often saved us money without sacrificing quality. There were no surprises with their bill because our discussions were clear and straightforward and any changes were noted by e-mail. Their charges were reasonable. We had fun working with them which added to the great deal of fun we had at our wedding. They helped two busy professionals with very full lives pull off a wedding and reception for 170 people with great results. We don't ever plan to get married again, but would definitely use them again for other event planning.

I couldn't be happier with Peggy's work. I cared a lot about how my flowers turned out, and Peggy's arrangements and bouquets were everything I could have hoped for. Peggy spent time talking to me to find out what style of flowers I wanted, and she was very knowledgeable about what combinations of flowers would best meet my needs. From her album of work, it is clear that she is very capable of many styles. I asked for a looser, organic look and hoped to use some local flowers from the farmer's market. Peggy used a combination of flowers she ordered and ones she purchased from the Saint Paul Farmer's Market. Peggy knows and often works with local growers and thus is able to use very fresh, moderately priced flowers. I also asked Peggy to use some flowers from my mom's garden in the centerpieces; she was very willing to do so. The day before the wedding, my mother in law frantically told Peggy that my husband's godmother would be offended if she didn't have a corsage and that the godmother was horribly allergic to all scented flowers. Peggy gracefully came up with an alternative extra corsage with about 12 hours notice. Peggy's consultation service saved us a lot of trouble and worry. She had suggestions on everything from where to purchase alcohol to how much time to allow between the ceremony and reception. When giving advice, Peggy explained pros and cons of different decisions and let us know what typically works best in her experience. She also had great advice on how to best use our budget based on what was important to us and what would make things welcoming for our guests. I spent hundreds of hours researching wedding planning on my own before enlisting Peggy's help, and she was much more helpful than all the books and websites I had looked at. I highly recommend "I Do" Wedding Design.
