This was the dog's first professional grooming. She is 11 months old. Ben handled her very well. When she turned out to be afraid of the dryer, he moved her to a different contraption for drying. They are close to us and reasonably priced. It is a home based business but it is set up like any professional grooming salon.

I would only add that the service was friendly, yet professional. I was happy with the dogs services and the manner and which they and I were treated.

I contacted Linda after finding her on Angie's List, and seeing that she was close to where we live. I was hesitant because Gus, our Havanese, is not great with other dogs and grooming is always a nervous time for him. Linda was great on the phone and got us in very quickly and at a great time for us. She got my information beforehand so that when we got there we could focus on Gus. When we arrived at her home I was immediately put at ease and Gus seemed to do better than he ever has. We walked around her grooming area and she described what she would be doing and where Gus would be. I really liked the fact that she put both of us at ease and that the environment was not chaotic like so many grooming establishments. She was great with Gus and I could tell she was experienced with animals and very professional. She was done in exactly the time she had told us and when I picked Gus up he was running around with a couple of other dogs and having a great time! Let me say that in 11 years, this has never happened!! I was so relieved and Gus looks great! He was way overdue for a trim and she did a great job even though he was scruffy to begin with! We are thrilled to have found such a wonderful groomer for our rather picky dog and we will definitely be returning.

I chose Linda and Home Sweet Home because it was a home-based business and not part of a chain, and I was very happy with my decision. Linda was professional and personable beginning with my phone call and throughout the entire process of grooming my little shitzu, Widget. It was clear that she not only was well-trained in the grooming business, but she understood and interacted with the client--the four-legged one (as well as her owner). I was very impressed and happy with the results, and so was Widget. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great groomer and loverly person to use Home Sweet Home!
