there were a couple of hitches. The first installer was rather rude and not too knowledgeable but they assigned another one who was absolutely great.. They had the invoice amount wrong at first but they resolved it.

Install new furnace and AC. Wonderful job and didn't leave a mess.

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT UNLESS YOU CAN STUFF IT IN YOUR VEHICLE AND TAKE IT HOME YOURSELF. Due to the 4 level food chain, through the delivery company, means nobody takes responsibility to deliver a useful product. The communication pyramid was awful (unreachable people and when you reach someone, loooong waits on the phone). We bought a microwave oven and refrigerator in early Nov for 2 week delivery. By mid Dec we had canceled both appliances - the microwave was out of production for months and the delivered refrigerator didn't cool (amazing). It was hours and days of badgering Home Depot. Everybody pointed their fingers elsewhere. Terrible business model.

The whole experience was great. Beginning with the retail sales in our local Home Depot, they were very knowledgeable and helped us make the right decisions. The installer arrived right on schedule, removed the old carpet and padding, and installed new padding and carpet in a very efficient manner. We had both the living room and master bedroom done. This is the second home we have had carpet installed by Home Depot and were very pleased both times. Family and friends are very impressed with the quality and price. Will definitely use them again.

Dont do your reviews over the phone with angies list they mess them up.

Everything went excellent, the job went as expected.

Generally speaking, service at this Home Depot is very good, and I find that you will get the detailed advice you need with all the answers you can handle during the off-peak hours. You can't go in on a Saturday at 2pm and expect the Master Plumber to coach you through every step of installing a new bathtub, however.

We had had them before, and this time we had a different team.  We felt that the previous team did a better job, and the work wasn't bad but it wasn't up to the quality of the first time we had it installed.  I would say that they did an adequate job.

I ordered the carpet from Home Depot in Woodbury, even though it was not the closest store to our home. I was told the installers would contact me after receiving the order, and would come out and measure and then send a final estimate and diagram for approval. I had to pay $50 for this measuring service, which was then applied to the price of the carpet. They called, came within two days to measure, sent my estimate and diagram by e-mail, gave me the option to pay online by credit card. I opted to pay at the store instead, and found that I could not pay at the store closest to home, I had to go to the store where I originally ordered it, because the stores' computers are not networked together. The estimate after measuring was much less than the estimate given in the store, partly because I was putting the same carpet in two different rooms so they figured out how to do it with minimal waste. It is their commercial office-looking, cheap carpet for 69 cents per square foot. After I paid and officially ordered it, somebody from Crew2, the local installation outfit, called me to set up the next available appointment, which was about 3-4 weeks out. I had hoped to have it in sooner but they couldn't accommodate that, so I was glad I had not already moved out the furniture and ripped out all the old carpet and pad. They offered to move furniture but not pianos or some other things, and the additional cost was too high for me so we moved it ourselves, and removed the old carpet and tack strips and padding ourselves as there was also an additional charge for that. Our installer, Steve Marshall, showed up on the appointed day, on time, was very polite, good-natured, and professional, took several hours to install the carpet absolutely perfectly, and was very easy to have around the house. We chose very cheap carpet because we weren't sure what we wanted but had to get rid of our old smelly carpet so we figured it would be good as a temporary cover anyway, but Steve assured us that it would wear very well and gave us some tips on living with pets and carpet and keeping it clean. We got the upgraded pad and I am very surprised by how good this carpet looks and how nice it is to walk on.

The transition molding needed for the two doorways was never a part of the quote nor was it ordered, so the floor was initially installed without the t-molding. Took about 3.5 hours to install. Installer did a good job, remembering to put silicone sealant around the perimeter of the room as required for a laundry room. Home Depot agreed to not charge me for the t-molding and credit my account for installation. The t-molding took 5 weeks to arrive, but was scheduled for installation the next day. Took about 45 minutes to install. Total time from room measurement to completion of installation was 11.5 weeks. Points to remember about Home Depot: - Charge if you want flooring delivered curbside. - Charge to move appliances. Will not re-connect. - If doing laundry room, will not move laundry tub. - Homeowner must remove wall base trim and Home Depot will charge if you want it put back on.

I went in the Woodbury location on two different occasions to look for lights for our cabin addition. Both times, there were 3-4 employees in there, and not once was I approached by any of them. They just mingled around the desk. We ended up going to Southern Lights in Burnsville.

It was a bit challenging simply because the cabinet company changed names/style numbers, etc. Rose did a good job of helping us match the existing and was very patient while we thoughtfully chose our additional cabinets. She seemed to really care that our needs and wants were satisfied.

THERE WERE ONLY 2 BRANDS OF WATER SOFTENERS AT THIS HOME DEPOT. BUT THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE AND WE BROUGHT THE GE BRAND, WHICH IS WORKING WELL. THERE IS SOMETHING WHERE YOU HAVE TO PAY SOME KIND OF TAX OR REGISTRATION WHEN YOU BUY A WATER SOFTENER. THE ADVANTAGE AT HOME DEPOT WAS THAT THEY DID THAT PART OF REGISTRATION ON THE WAY, WHEN THEY COME TO DELIVER AT MY HOME. IT WAS INSTALLED AND THE PERSON WHO INSTALLED IT WAS NICE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND EXPLAINED ALL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT WEEKDAYS, BUT THIS HOME DEPOT IS VERY BUSY ON WEEKEND, AND I THINK IT IS UNDER-STAFFED, AS WE WERE CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR AN ASSOCIATE AND IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS.

THE WORK WAS CONDUCTED BY HOME DEPOT'S CONTRACTORS. THERE WERE SEVERAL HOLES IN INSTALLATIONS. THE SALES PERSON WAS IN DENIAL MOOD AND WAS NOT VERY COOPERATIVE IN WORKING THINGS OUT. I COULD FEEL HE WOULD LEAVE THE COMPANY SOON. I WAS UNHAPPY ABOUT THE WORK. I HAVE TO USE A RUG TO COVER THE DEFECT WORK.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND THE RIGHT CHOICE OF A FLOORING FOR US. WE DID HAVE TO PICK UP THE FLOORING OURSELVES WHICH CAN BE A PROBLEM, BUT THE INSTALLATION IS GREAT

I PAID FOR THE DOOR A WEEK IN ADVANCE. WHEN IT TIME FOR MY CONTRACTOR TO PICK UP THE DOOR, THEY SAID THEY SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. I CALLED THEM AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS THERE ALL ALONG AND THEY JUST HAD NOT LOOKED CLOSELY ENOUGH. THEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, AND HE SAID "WELL, IT SEEMS WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING RIGHT." THEY DID GIVE ME A 10% DISCOUNT, WHICH IS CHUMP CHANGE TO THEM. THIS JUST MADE ME FEEL TWICE AS BAD. I WAS SO UNHAPPY WITH THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

REP WAS TOO INFORMAL. HE CAME IN, SAT DOWN AND ASKED FOR A CUP OF COFFEE. THE WINDOWS WERE VINYL AND WOULD HAVE REQUIRED INSTALLATION OF EGRESS WINDOWS.

WE WOULD NOT HAVE USED HOME DEPOT EXCEPT FOR THE PRODUCT AND THEIR ASSURANCE THAT ''YOU CAN TRUST US, GUARANTEED''. DO NOT HIRE HOME DEPOT FOR HOME REMODEL, AND CERTAINLY DON''T TRUST THEM! HIRE A GOOD CONTRACTOR AND LET THEM ORDER MATERIALS!
