I had the pleasure of working with Jan and Hohn & Hohn on my bathroom remodel. My project consisted of a bathtub to walk-in shower conversion. I had a demo of all the existing floor tiling and the bathtub for the conversion. Hohn & Hohn did the build of the walk-in shower and all the tile work for the project. The team consisting of Jan, Dave and Tom were all class acts - they were always on time each morning and all scheduled work and always very professional. I always felt comfortable leaving them in my condo. They were knowledgeable on the remodel process and provided guidance with recommendations on my project. The work performed was of the highest quality and very meticulous. All the tile was laid to perfection and they always left my place clean. They were great to work with for the entire project. If there was one negative, it would be the time to get on their schedule - but it shows how high they are in demand for their quality work - it was well worth the wait! I would highly recommend Hohn & Hohn and they will be on the top of my list for any future tiling needs! See the before and after pics.

It's a family and they do tile work. They were very good. They did very nice work and they were very conscientious. They communicated well. I decided to go with them because of their style, they kind of do it old school and all materials are hand done. It just seemed like a better fit and a better solution. They were more in line with what I was thinking. I would highly recommend them.

Jan is a busy professional, yet she is prompt in returning calls or emails and providing a price quote.
Alex, who did the work, was punctual, professional and trustworthy. Not to mention he is funny.

I had handmade ceramic tiles made to serve as a divider between three horizontal kitchen wall paint colors. I first called Jan Hohn on June 4th. She is very busy and in demand as a tile setter. She came out on June 12th to look at my job, discuss what I wanted done, make suggestions, and determine grout color. I got her estimate on June 18th, which came in lower than one other estimate. She thought she might be able to complete my job before the 4th of July, but she was not able to come until July 20th to start my job. We worked together for about five hours that day, she "cementing" the tiles on the wall while I helped get them arranged in the correct order, which I had decided previously. She was able to move and change them around so I was satisfied with how they looked. She had to cut quite a few tiles to fit, and this was not a problem. She and her son came back the following Monday to do the grouting. It looks very nice and professional, in spite of her having to work with handmade tiles which were not necessarily uniform. I would definitely hire her again.

It went wonderful. She laid out every piece of tile before she installed everything. I've never seen better tile work anyway. She's great with details.
