Told me in advance that the holes would be free. Needed to look at the belt. It waz a simple fix and he ended up charging me nothing.

I've taken multiple pairs of women's dress heels to Harold's Shoe Repair for new elastic by the strap closure and I've been pleased with the repairs every time.
Other repairs have been adding toe taps for wear issues on designer shoes with crappy soles and heel replacements on women's dress shoes.
Harold's Shoes has proven to be reliable, professional and their quality of work is a great value.

My beloved pair of black mules have a second life thanks to the repair by Harold's. The repair is stronger than the original stitching. As a bonus, both shoes were returned to me with an almost good as new shine. The work took about 4 days and was ready when promised. The price was very reasonable.

I had a belt that was damaged by my puppy. I thought that I would get an estimate for repair, rather than discard the belt. I had gone to one of their competitors in the past, and left feeling "abused" by the high cost of a very simple sewing repair on a nylon bag. The gentleman at Harold's Shoe Repair surprised me with the $6 estimate. The repair was done on time, was very acceptable considering the damage. I swapped out a second damaged belt when I picked up the first.
These guys are busy, I can see why. Granted it was a very small project, but I am of the opinion that I was treated well, and my business was valued.

I dropped my shoes off on a Thursday and they told me they would be done by 5:00 the next day! The price was the same as I paid for the same work I had done at a much more popular repair store on Grand Avenue but their turn around time was one week.
I picked my shoes up as promised the next day and have had no problems with the work.

I have used Harold's Shoe Repair for the last 10+ years. He has repaired shoes/boots, fixed my hockey goalie gloves and leg pads, Stitched in the webbing on my race ATV nerf bar nets, and other misc repairs. Work is always done correctly, efficiently, and at a Great price. Highly recommend them to anyone.

I have a shorter left side due to a birth injury from forceps. For 70 plus years I have seen many of my shoes built-up, some good, some bad, some were really questionable and some even fell apart. Harold's Shoe Repair does high-quality work and Wayne carefully explained how they were to go about the build-up, I left very assured that they knew their craft, that I was going to get my shoe done correctly and on-time - I was right - they did both! After four years of wear, the shoe is still going strong (I am writing this review in Oct. 2011)! I will bring it back in for heel-wear repair soon - a minimal task for my shoes. Thank you, Harold's Shoe Repair, you are a godsend for easing my hip and knee pain with your phenomenal shoe work - I will send all my friends and family to you.

Very helpful - hooked me up with the supplies I'd need to get my old briefcase looking new again. Took the time to give me good solid instructions and gave me the stuff I needed without trying to outfit me with unnecessary stuff just for the sake of the sale. It's getting harder and harder to find good shoe repair places. I look forward to going to Harold's whenever I need to repair shoes or get polish and brushes etc. It looks like the can handle a wide range of shoe and leather repair.
