she came on time to visit & check on the project & for an estimate; Written Estimate was provided & she asked for $200 deposit and will come back approximately after 3 weeks, but I haven't heard from her in 4 weeks, I tried to call her but she doesn't return any of my calls, until i caught her several times on the phone and she is giving me a lot of excuses why she couldn't make it; the last time i talked to her was she promised to come around end of April, told her that this is not working out so I asked for the refund of the deposit & there was no reply from her; after which I email her, told her that I have filed a police report, & within a couple of hours she put a cheque to my post mail box for the $100 half of the deposit; & asked that the written estimate be returned back to her & she will give back the other half of the deposit which $100.00; I did that, cancelled out the estimate & mailed it back to her, but never heard from her again & never received the $100 back the rest of the deposit. I recommend not do business with this company & to be very careful in hiring companies in a housing fairs.

The company was recommended by our Realtor for some work we wanted to get done quickly. One of the company owners came out very quickly (over the weekend) to give us an estimate, and we gave her a check at that time to complete the work that week. We were told the work would start Monday. When I arrived home Tuesday and saw that nothing had been done, I called and asked what happened. I was told that they had gotten caught up in a couple of existing jobs and would be out Wednesday to start work. They were, and the work was completed over several days (drying time, etc.) and was finished within the week. The work was of high quality, and I cannot fault the responsiveness of the company once they started work. But it's bothersome to have left the house available for work two days with absolutely nothing happening and no phone call or message explaining the situation.

It has been terrible. The Bloomington HRA has had to supervise this company's progress or lack there of as they are poorly qualified to do this work. The housing inspector has also had to come out and inspect several times. They walked off the job as of 7/2/09 taking the permit paid for by HRA funds. Now I have to hire another contractor of fix what they have ruined, not done to code, or even started. It will take the rest of my HRA loan in order to do this so I am just "out of luck" as far as the money spent is concerned!

THERE WORK WAS PRETTY GOOD, BUT THEY TOOK NO PREVENTATIVE MEASURES TO KEEP DUST FROM FLYING AROUND THE HOUSE. ALSO, SOME WORKERS INADVERTENTLY TOOK A SHOVEL AND BUCKET, USED, RUINED THE SHOVEL, AND LOST THE BUCKET. OFTEN, THEY WOULD ALSO COME LATE AND WERE JUST EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
