BEST BUY WILL NOT HONOR THE COUPON ON THIS SITE!
The coupon specifically says "Visit a best buy today" "In-Store Only" "Visit Best Buy to complete a diagnostic"
This is not accurate! I hauled my broken TV to best buy. They completed the diagnostic, but would not honor the coupon for 10% off a replacement. After talking to the store manager who had never heard of the coupon and refused to honor it, I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Best Buy corporate trying to find somebody who knew what was going on. They said that in order to use the coupon (even though it says the exact opposite), you need to pay $99 for a tech to come to your home. Once the in-home tech complete a diagnostic and you refuse the repair then they will email you a coupon with a bar code that is valid for an in-store purchase.
On the phone with their customer service reps, I never spoke out of turn and was highly patient with the people in the call center (as I work customer service myself). They were nothing but rude to me in return. Best Buy corporate is run by a bunch of liars and thieves. The wording on the voucher is purposefully highly misleading. Ultimately they were unwilling to honor the words they had written on the voucher which said nothing about an in-home service call and specifically said you must visit a Best Buy store and you must use In-Store Only.
Worst customer service experience of my life.
However, the people at the store in Roseville, MN were very kind. They recycled my old TV and helped me pick out a new TV. Best Buy corporate needs to take a lesson from the people they employ. They also need to give their employees the information they need to deal with coupons and vouchers that they are releasing online. This expirience was very frustrating for all of us involed at the store.

terrific. Daniel was thorough and explaining what he was doing the whole time. Never seemed rushed as he got the job done. I was so very glad to get it all done and also that I didn't try to set these new electronics up myself as I did in the past before wireless technology. He was so patient when we experienced a slow download. No grumbling, smiling the whole 2 hours needed to finish. At the end, he took the time to acquaint me with the basics of the new PC, operating system and printer capabilities. He also was very good about cleaning up the packing materials, leaving the area quite tidy. He was obviously a seasoned professional and I am 100% pleased.
The only negative would be in scheduling the service call. Store purchase on 10/30 and set-up first set-up appointment available was 11/6. I think I was worth the wait to get it done right.
Also, I left the computer when I was going to be on vacation and not needing it. I was in Europe and when I got the phone call was not getting reception to take it. When I called back there was no answer and no returned call. When the email notice came that they would have to erase all the memory it was important that I talk to them and have them save the information before proceeding. However, I couldn't reach anyone via email or phone. Since international calls are very expensive I could not stay on the line waiting for someone to eventually help.
Very subpar service.
the old TV. The primary tech connected everything, including sound bar, game consoles. Gave detailed instructions on use of remote & reconnected me to cable so I had reception until comcast came out the next day with HD hook up.
Both agents were excellent in the approach to doing their job and their knowledge of the task at hand. Both were very consumer oriented, explained everything they were going to be doing and made sure we were totally happy with the completed job.
Being from Minneapolis (Maple Grove) my wife and I were very familiar with The Geek Squad from prior services. We were hopeful that we would receive the excellent service that we were accustomed to.
We were not disappointed. We were very impressed with both agents. Agents are like Josh and Steve, confirmed our trust in the
Geek Squad.
They mounted the TV, connected everything to it and neatly hid the cords so I don't see them. Then they programmed it and connected it to the internet. Finally they gave me some quick education on using the remote. It was awesome.
They also took all the packaging and garbage from the new TV with them that saved me some headache. I have the Agents business card if I need further help. This was well worth the investment as my husband would have spent an afternoon doing the whole thing and probably would not have done it as well.
