I purchased a flip down, after-market Alpine DVD for my new Toyota Sienna with a sunroof. I thought that I would save a ton of money over a factory install plus I would get a higher quality unit. The plan seemed good until I started hearing on the web, and from other installers, that the installation could be challenging due to the sunroof anf not all installers would do the job. Thankfully I talked to Casey at Best Buy in Maplewood! He said that it could be challenging yet it was definitely possible. He also said the job can sometimes take over 3 hours and that the Geek Squad charges a flat fee. Casey did a great job! The DVD works great. He also advised me to run my sound through the aux instead of primarily through the FM transmitter. I thought that was a great idea since I saw on-line that my DVD unit was known to have a weak FM transmitter. Thanks to Casey I now have a sweet Alpine DVD for my kids to watch and I saved loads of cash over a factory install to boot!
