Freeman's Custom Cabinets

We met with Mr. freeman on the same day we called. He made a perfectly lovely cabinet for an older truck that exceeded our expectation. It not only looked great it went in and fit perfectly. We where skeptical how this would go but it could not have worked out better and it was done in 2 weeks. We would definitely us Mr. Freeman again.

Originally I was told that they could match the cabinets to the entertainment center. They completed the work but both the cabinets and entertainment center all look like completely different colors. I was told to wait 6 months for the color to set in and then it'll match the entertainment center but that seems too long of a wait. The owner is very slow to respond. I would recommend to not text him because he doesn't respond quickly. The people that work for him, however, are fabulous but the owner himself was hard to work with. The hard part is that the owner gave us a small sample of what the finished color would look like and said that's the best he could do but it was only a small sample, it would look different if it was blown up.

My husband and I were so incredibly impressed with Freeman's from the start all the way to the end of the project. They welcomed us out to their studio to experience the quality of their work and their team was so incredibly patient with us through the many changes as we figured out exactly what we wanted in the design phase. I really love that they put together drawings for us to visualize how the space would come together and gave advice/recommendations and iterated with us quickly. The team was always super responsive with communication and accommodating when things come up. Lastly, the most important part...The quality and design is fantastic. I can not stop looking at the cabinets--They function perfectly and look beautiful! The team at Freeman's were such awesome partners through the full process and we love the end product. No question, we will be asking them to come back and help on our future renovations requiring cabinets.

Patrick Freeman has been there every step of the way to guide us and more importantly help us attain our dreams for our home. There has never been a project that we have not brought to Patrick that he has for one moment hesitated at the project requested. We get numerous comments from guests in our homes and a request for the name of our cabinet maker. These comments have often times come from others workers in our home. We feel very fortunate to have Patrick Freeman to help us realize our goals and dreams for our home. Patrick has always been very attentive to any concerns and requests and as a result we have no worries when working with Patrick Freeman. Freeman's Custom Cabinets are in high demand and as a result you might have to wait at times, but any time we may had experienced a wait, we feel it is a wait well worth our time as we know the product we are going to receive will be superior, They do excellent work and Patrick always stands behind his product and has pride in the work they produce. We will definitely continue to use Freeman's Custom Cabinets as our designated cabinet maker. We would not consider going any where else as we have a great cabinet maker in Freeman's Custom Cabinets.

Initial project design went excellent. Pat and his assistant came over a couple of days after our initial call to do some measuring and get some insight on what we were looking for. Several days later we got some designs which were improvements over our initial idea. We requested some small changes which were updated and the Freeman's provided pricing. Pat and his assistant came out to do final measurements - where we identified a few more tweaks that needed to be made. We paid a portion down and Pat gave us a delivery window. Note - we requested a slightly later date to better match with our plans. After finalizing the project and before the installation - we had a few questions that could have been addressed in a more timely fashion. However it did not impact the overall project. The install team did great work. A couple of the shelves didn't fit quite right and Pat came out himself to measure, then install new ones the following day. The quality of the cabinets exceeded our expectations and we believe they were a good value. We would use Freeman's for future work in our house.

The cotton white enamel surface is  just right--set off the kitchen so it was clearly connected to the home but new and elegant feeling. In the end we decided on high definition laminate tops that are gentle and bring all our house colors together.
The whole cabinet project from start to finish was just over 60 days.   Thanks Pat, Cassie and Crew!!

I had excellent experience in working with Freeman's on several occasions.  I did a remodel and this company did the complete  new kitchen and bathroom  cabinets.  I got what I wanted in a very timely manner and found the work to be excellent.
I would and will certainly use this company again.

Pat basically only communicates via telephone call; don't bother with text or email. If you are fine with just using the telephone then this might not bother you but its probably super frustrating for anyone under 45. Although the quality of the counter tops themselves was fine - everything about the customer service and install was extremely frustrating. At one point the crew was ready to walk away with my counters completely askew and not even close to level. I admit that it was a tricky fit and a lot harder than the crew expected but the fact that they were just going to leave it that way was unbelievable. If it hadn't of been for my handyman giving the crew a talking to, I would have been left with a crazy counter top situation. My handyman (who just happened to be over) gave them some advice on how to secure and fit the sink and convinced them to redo the counter top fit until I was happy. Pat never inspected the final product;I called him to notify him that the crew was leaving. Overall, it was poorly managed.

Really well! I would definitely use Pat again, and have actually posted his information on my neighborhood's social page recommending him to neighbors. He did a really great job on the cabinets, matched the stain of an existing bench that I had exactly, and installed directly on the date that he committed to upfront.

Everything looks awesome, and I'm really glad that I decided to go with Freeman's Custom Cabinets for my work. Once I finish my basement, I'll be contacting him again for some more work.

As I noted above, the team did such a great job I hired them for a second job. They quality of the work was great. They did an excellent job matching the existing cabinet style and color. As the other reviews noted, it was not the fastest process but I was not in a hurry so it did not bother me nor did I follow up often to let them know I needed anything sooner.  I would definitely recommend Freeman's.

There was a little delay in starting. But, once they started, they were here every day until the project was completed. Jason and his helper couldn't have been more considerate and eager to answer any of my questions through out the entire project. He pays great attention to detail and really cares about the outcome.

We had a really terrible experience. It took over 3 months to have our cabinets installed in our 11' x 11' kitchen. We lived without a kitchen for 6 months and it was complete h***. Freeman's would show up for a couple hours every few weeks and work, and then we wouldn't hear from Pat for weeks. No response to phone calls, email, or texts. It was common for him to set up a time to work on install and then never show up, without even the courtesy of a phone call. The communication was completely unacceptable, and it made the whole experience really painful and frustrating. The initial project was for wall cabinets, but we had asked for a quote to add on a built- in pantry cabinet about a month before he was supposed to start the install. It took about 2 days to get our first quote for the whole kitchen, and I'd bet this quote would have taken him about 10 minutes to do. Despite reminding him about it every time we communicated for at least 2 months, he never did give us the quote. We finally came to the conclusion that he just didn't want to do it, although he never told us that. So we dropped it. The final install happened when we wrote him a letter after not hearing from him for a month. We genuinely thought he was abandoning the job and we were taking the first steps to cut things off so that we could find another company to finish the work. We were really desperate to get this project done. He did respond quickly and made and effort to finish the remaining work. He ended up giving us the doors to the pantry cabinet we'd asked him to quote as a "gift" for taking so long to install the cabinets. We really appreciated it, but when one of them turned out to be warped, we were pretty bummed. Yeah, they were free but they don't look that great when one doesn't line up well with the other. The final straw was when we tried to install our fridge, and it didn't fit. We had given him the exact dimensions and everything so there is no reason this should have happened. Now we are stuck trying to sell our fridge and find something else that is more narrow but still as tall as the one we had purchased, so that it will still have the custom look. It's such a pain!

I will keep it simple. Pat did a great job with our cabinets. We did custom cherry and they turned out wonderful. Pat came to our house right away and gave us an estimate right away. Pat was great to work with too. We changed a few things mid project and he was super accommodating!! I think his pricing is fair and was not astronomical- without sacrificing quality or service. So if you are looking for quality and great service and professionalism go with this company. We are very happy we did!

Kitchen cabinets were okay, but materials used were different than requested, fit was not correct which required modification to home, and some of the wood appears warped. Also, wasn't timely and communication was poor.

Pat designed the new cabinets to fit the layout of the old cabinets, and save the wall tile and also added an additional set of cabinets over the wall tile on a wall that had not had cabinets before.  The pantry he designed, with pull-outs, gave us an enormous amount of additional storage and between pull-outs and drawers there is nothing that is not easily accessible.  The finished job is beautiful.
Pat scheduled the job to be finished in time for a visit our son and his family from Ireland, and everything came off on schedule.  The materials and workmanship of the cabinets are first rate, and his installers are true craftsmen.
Pat also recommended contractors to do the tear-out of the old cabinets and reinstallation of appliances (SJF Home Improvements), and to provide and install the granite countertop (Dobervich Stone).  Both were excellent and I will submit separate A grade reviews for them separately.

It went very well. They were very nice and very good. I liked the quality of the work and the pricing as well, and their professionalism. The cost was towards the lower end.

We would never ever use them again. It was not aa good experience. They did a good job but if you are not in the time line of which i can't think of anybody who is remodeling a kitchen. You cannot have your counter tops, your appliances put anywhere until you have your cabinets. He said it was going to be here at 2pm, my husband called at 1pm and he has not yet even started our order. He never called us. That was a weeks delay. He made a stressful situation probably 10 times worse. He had a framed certificate from Angie's list. He is terrible about communication. The cabinet looks great but it was a long road there.

When I contacted Freeman's for the first time, Pat Freeman answered and was able to schedule an in-home consultation within the week.  His bid was competitive and timing was right on.  Within 4 weeks, we had beautiful painted white built-in bookshelves installed over our existing lower built-ins around our fireplace.  The paint on the new shelves matches beautifully to the existing built-ins.  The installers worked efficiently and were professional.  When they were done with their work, we had a couple of areas that we wanted touched up and they did that without a problem.  My only complaint is the fumes from the new built-ins, but that is improving with time.  We are very happy with the work that was done and will use Freeman's Custom Cabinetry for future cabinetry needs.
