FRATTALONE'S ACE HARDWARE

On January 13, 2019, I bought a large Toro snow blower at the Columbia Heights Frattalone's Ace Hardware store. I paid $1,050. for the snow blower, and $30. for delivery. I was told that I would be contacted by the delivery people on Monday to arrange for delivery. I did not hear from them. On January 17, I called the Columbia Heights Frattalone's Ace hardware store to inquire about delivery. They referred me to the delivery people at the St. Paul store. The delivery person told me that they would call me this morning to arrange for delivery. Today is Friday, and they did not call. There is a large snow storm predicted for Sunday night, and I have no snow blower.

It took about a week and a half to get the screen back and it seemed pretty expensive to me. The screen is approximately 24" x 36". Store staff seemed pretty friendly and eager to please.

We were told we would have the mower back within 10 days, which turned out to be over 3 weeks. Fortunately for us when we brought the lawn mower in to be fixed we purchased a reel mower. I just can't leave one of these stores without buying something! I wrote a letter to the store about the length of time and soon was contacted by Mike Frattalone. He was very friendly and made things right. He explained that they are very busy during that time of year and we should not have been told that it would take 3 weeks.

Although they don't have as much as the bigger stores, the customer service is great. There's always someone available to answer questions or help me find what I am looking for.

WENT PERFECTLY, I HAD A CALL TO TELL ME IT WAS DONE, BUT IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT A WEEK. HERE'S HOPING THE COLD STAYS OUT BETTER THIS YEAR! VERY PERSONABLE, LOVE THE SMALLER HARDWARE STORES.

RAY REPAIRED THREE STORMS THAT WERE SEEMINGLY BEYOND HOPE. A WINDOW ''SPECIALIST'' WHO HAD COME INTO MY HOME HAD PREVIOUSLY TOLD ME THEY WERE BEYOND REPAIR (THE ''SPECIALIST'' ALSO SOLD NEW STORM WINDOWS). RAY MIRACULOUSLY REPAIRED FOR $40 EACH -MATERIALS AND LABOR- AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE HIGH COST! HE DOES THE WORK QUICKLY AND CALLS AS SOON AS READY FOR PICK UP.
