We've used EA for years so when we moved to a new house and some of our old pieces weren't going to work we went looking for furniture we're comfortable with. EA has changed since our last purchases over 10 years ago. Their prices have dropped (probably to compete with their big-box rivals and overseas manufacturing) but the quality we'd grown to expect has declined as well. Today more than 10 years ago, EA furniture is more expensive for what you get. Considering all that, we still felt it matched our needs. Judy at the Eagan store was wonderful to work with. She put up with innumerable visits where we just had to sit in every chair and recline every couch in the store, some more than once. We pretty much made up our minds on what we wanted, but she offered to come to the new house to weigh in (at no cost). Delivery was as promised, with only a very minor scuff on one chair. We'll be ordering fabric soon to recover existing (very well built) EA chairs that we already own.
