Dust and Shine Cleaning Experts LLC

I bought a coupon through CrowdCut and she never honored it.  She was
unreachable for weeks due to a full voicemailbox; when I finally reached
her and was able to make an appointment, I realized a few days ahead of
the appointment that I needed to reschedule but again I could not reach
her or leave a message.  I resorted to sending her a message on
Facebook as that was the only way I could think of.  She never got or
responded to the message.  On the day of the original appointment (which
I'd tried to cancel), I got a call from her employee saying he was on
his way over.  I told him that I'd tried to cancel but couldn't reach
his boss.  I played phone tag with her for a while.  Then I emailed her
asking for my money back because I was so frustrated.  She responded
very curtly saying she was sitting in front of my house at that very
moment and there was no one to let her in and if I didn't show up soon
she'd have to leave for other appointments.  I had not made an
appointment for that day!  After a couple more back-and-forths she
realized she had mistaken me for someone else but DID NOT APOLOGIZE. 
She also has not refunded my money even though I sent her several emails
asking for it back.  I will never see my $120 nor receive services paid
for.  DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON!

BEWARE!  DO NOT HIRE DUST AND SHINE CLEANING EXPERTS!  My experience with Dust and Shine Cleaning Experts has been horrible and almost exactly the same as the review written on 9/5/12.  After many unsuccessful attempts to make contact with this company to schedule the service that I had purchased through Crowd Cut I finally contacted Crowd Cut to request a refund.  The customer service representative from Crowd Cut contacted the owner (Tarah Myhre) who only then contacted me to schedule our first cleaning service. When the service date arrived no one showed up to my house to do the cleaning.  I was told they would be here by noon, but by 2:00 pm I began trying to reach Tarah to find out what was going on.  Of course she did not respond to my calls or my email and I wasted an entire day waiting on this company to arrive.  The next day I submitted a second complaint with Crowd Cut and once again I received a call from Tarah Myhre and she offered to reschedule the cleaning service for the following week.  When the date arrived I again waited for the cleaning service staff to arrive.  A young man eventually arrived and it quickly became obvious that he had no idea how to clean a home.  It was the ABSOLUTE WORST housecleaning I have ever seen.  The dusting was hit and miss (mostly miss), the carpets weren't vacuumed, the bathrooms weren't cleaned, pretty much my house looked the same as before he arrived.  He was not at my home for the two hours that I had paid for and overall it was very disappointing experience.  Since I had already paid for 3 cleanings I thought I would give the company a second chance.  I thought maybe I just got an irresponsible employee and had high hopes of a better experience with the 2nd cleaning. I have made several attempts to reach Dust and Shine to schedule the next cleaning.  I have left several voicemails and sent several emails as well and have not received any response.  Completely fed up with this company I contacted Crowd Cut once again to request a refund of the services that I have paid for and did not receive.  I was told that they can not refund this purchase and that they would contact Tarah and request that she call me.  To date I have not received any contact from this owner and I seriously doubt that I ever will.  I believe that Dust and Shine Cleaning Experts is nothing more than a SCAM!!  They advertised and sold their services with an enticing deal through Crowd Cut, however once they received payment from Crowd Cut they had no intentions of fulfilling their obligation to the purchaser.  Dust and Shine Cleaning Experts is a dishonest company with incredibly poor customer service and should be put out of business!!

.There is something really wrong with this company and its owner.  Our
experience is almost exactly like the review date 9/5/2012.  We bought
an AmazonLocal deal for two hours of housecleaning.  First of all, they
don't accept phone calls, only emails.  We emailed the owner asking for
services two weeks after our email.  She asked what we wanted done; we
responded.  Then we heard nothing else after that, despite four
additional email attempts. Three weeks have passed and we don't need
cleaning any longer, so we contacted Amazon and got our money back, no
questions asked.  We can only guess that Amazon didn't balk at a refund because they must have received numerous complaints.
Don't even think about using Dust and Shine.

Quite possibly this is the worst customer service experience I've had.  I purchased a deal on Crowd Cut for Dust & Shine for three 2-hour cleanings at the low low price of $119 and I snatched it up.  I purchased it on July 9.  As per usual, there's a week or so after the purchase you have to wait to be able to use the certificate.  On the day it was opened up, I called to schedule my appointment.  I got voice mail with a very long message explaining how busy they are and they return calls in the order they were received and to please be patient.  I can be patient, so I left a message.  several days passed and I got no return call so I left a second message and I found their website and sent an email to the email addresses listed there.  After getting no response I try calling again and while the outbound message hasn't changed, now the voice mail box is full and I cannot leave a message.  I shoot off a few more emails (with no response) and continue trying to call.  I was out of town for a little more than a week during this process so I'll take the blame for at least one week of delay, but no one returned my call or emails EVER.  A month passed and I emailed Crowd Cut explaining what I had done and how I'd lost faith in this company and would like a refund.  Within two business days of my email to Crowd Cut, I got a call from Tarah telling me how busy she was and she hadn't gotten around to returning my call but that we could schedule something.  At that point I was just happy to have made some contact and willing to move forward, even though it had been a month with no return communication.  She explained how very very busy she was and that she could squeeze me in almost another month later.  I told her generally Tuesdays and Thursdays were bad for me, she said the only thing she had available was Thursday, August 30.  Feeling desperate I said that would work but that I left by 9:30, she said she'd be here by 9.  I spent the next month hoping it would work.  Thursday, August 30, 9am came and went and by 9:23 I tried calling only to get a voice mail that explains you no longer can leave a message and that you have to email them at an email address, which I do.  I explain that I have to leave, we'd agreed she'd be here at 9, it was now already almost 9:30 and she wasn't here, and I left.  At 10:35 there was a voice mail on my cell phone from Tarah that she was on her way to my house and asked me to call her cell phone.  I couldn't return the call until 11:50 and when I did, it rang and rang and went straight to the voice message that said not to leave a message.   When I got home I sent another email to Crowd Cut asking for a refund (which they won't do by the way) but they did follow up with Tarah to see what had happened.  She explained that we'd made an appointment but no one was home when she got here.  No one was home because she was late, but that wasn't part of her explanation to Crowd Cut.  Anyway, at this point I've given up hope and am chalking the $119 to learning an expensive lesson about stuff being too good to be true.  I'm going to continue to pursue a refund through both Dust & Shine and Crowd Cut but am not optimistic.
