General Remodeling
Work of sub-contractor was very good. The electrician and plumber did some additional punchlist (house) items for us for very little charge. Plus, they did the purchased work in the bathroom. The primary contractor was unreliable. His work was good, not at the quality we would expect for the price. He was never on-time and terrible at cost and time management. The original project estimate was $6,000, where we purchased all the hardware (toilet, tub/shower, vanity/sink, faucets, title, paint). The final cost was over $13,000 and many finishing things were not completed. The estimate was 2 weeks and the work actually took 7 weeks. We finally got the bathroom to 'done enough' so we could take our house back and had the contractor and subs finish the project on a compromised punchlist. We were happy with the final product, but the cost over-run and terrible time management was too much. We would have even accepted updates to costs along the way. Updates were continually promised, but never delivered. This company will not be back in our home.
