Poor. The fan installation was ok. They look fine. I will describe below the issue with it. The wall switches are another matter. They tried to cut a large area out of the wall to install a bigger box to use the already installed light switch with the new fan switch, before finding a stud was in the way. Now two long cuts in the sheet rock. Then they put the new switch box on the other side of the stud (about 4 inches away). But they put the switch in 1/4 lower than the existing light switch. I also love that they put in a double switch (1 for fan, 1 for light), when the switch I provided did both. Now we have a switch installed that does nothing (no connections). As for the 2nd fan, the switch was installed crooked. slight lean to it. Again, installed with a non-functioning 2nd switch. With the ceiling fan installation. It looks good installed. We put out a sheet to keep the area clean. After drilling the hole for the fan and collecting the sheet rock dust in a catcher, he dumped it onto the floor and proceeded to track it through the house. 4 hour install job with 6+ hours of cleaning after they left... I also had to run and get parts that he needed. I also returned parts that I had already picked up, that he didn't use (even though I told him what I had, after seeing it, he didn't like the model, so he went to the hardware store and got the one he liked). Due to code, the circuit breakers had to be updated to arc-faults for this circuit (fan installed) and the circuit next to it. Since the installation, we have tripped the breakers (which are joined with a bridge on the toggle) many times. Turning on a vacuum or hair dryer can take them out. We never tripped them before the arc faults. Another certified electrician found no problems in the wiring (not overloaded), but did say that arc-faults are very 'sensitive' to power surges and spikes. By having 2 breakers set together (on both input feeds), it only takes out the side of house (TV, Internet and such) that are not on the fan breaker, but on the other breaker connected to the fan breaker via a bridge. I didn't mention it, but the fans are NOT running when the arc-fault tripped. Less than 1 amp from lights on that circuit, plus the vacuum (pulled 8 amps). The other electrician looked at the wall switches and shook his head. The electrician from Dagget also made a point to show all the other 'problems' in the house with the wiring (kinda arrogant, we thought). Sorry, but that is how they made the house 50 years ago. It is still legal as the other electrician (who is also an inspector for the city) pointed out... The fans work nice, as long as you don't look at the wall switches. Oh, he doesn't fix sheetrock...

I would recommend Gary he did the work efficiently and quickly. Definitely super honest and never tried to upsell anything. Somewhat of a "if it ain't broke type" of a person. --often he would let us know that a request was going to be potentially costly and that it would be less to leave it alone. This was a nice change from some contractors that try to spend as much time onsite as possible. In the end, we had him do most of the things we wanted and just had to confirm that, we actually wanted them done even if it wasn't the cheapest thing. Does good work and the inspector confirmed the does good work.

It went well. There's two electricians who work full day to finish the job. They had to come back for an hour the next day to install chandelier. They explained all the steps and what's going to happen so no surprises. The job is well done and inspection is passed.

Gary was prompt, professional and friendly. He resolved several electrical issues efficiently and advised me in layman's terms of what he was doing as he went along. His rate is very reasonable and the total cost of the work and supplies was much lower than I had anticipated. I would definitely hire him again!

He had seen problems like this before.  He methodically looked for the problem with a tester and wiggled wires.  There were more than two dozen places to look.  The intermittent nature of the problem made it very difficult to even produce the problem.

It turned out to be in a wall outlet which was also used as a junction box.

They are licensed and bonded. He came out and gave me an estimate, and it was right on the money. The work was done quickly and professionally.

He does excellent work at reasonable prices.  He is not only really good but he is also fast. He even ran to the hardware store to get the parts I needed. He has a 2hour minimum at $50.00 but worth every penny. He use to be an electrical engineer so he knows what he’s doing.

The problem was what he was doing to stretch the time since it was getting done sooner than expected. I felt that he was purposely disorganized like not keeping the Tools at where the job is so that he can walk around multiple times to stretch his time. He wears gloves and sometimes he looses them and that adds time to look for them too. So annoying to see how often he wear and take off the jacket depending on how warm/cold he gets. I also felt that he clocked the job wrong.

Besides electric, I hired him to do a lot of the rehab of the house. Taping and mudding, put up new sheet rock in the bathroom, built closet in 2nd floor and put up access doors, added insulation, removed bathroom window and wall, and matched vinyl siding to cover up window opening. There was no woodwork, he measured oak and put woodwork around windows and all internal doors and floors and replaced 2 basement windows.
