The customer service was absolutely superior. We had heard horror stories about mortgages and mortgages companies, but they made the whole process quite painless. They gave us all the information we needed without making things too complicated. Very nice to deal with.

Steve responded to my inquiry promptly and spent a long time going over my financial options with me over the phone. He then followed up by e-mail to send me a spreadsheet to show how much each loan option would cost at various price points. After he had issued me a preapproval letter, but before I'd found a house I wanted to buy he would unobtrusively check in with me over e-mail every couple weeks to see if I had any questions. Once I found a house, we met in person to finalize the loan details and to talk through the rest of the process (getting insurance, having the appraisal done, etc.). He was very good at keeping me in the loop, and promptly mailed me copies of all relevant paperwork (credit report, appraisal, etc.). Steve was always straightforward and pleasant to work with, and I'd recommend him to anyone buying a house.
