I found Croixwood on Angie's List on Monday, called their number and got Erin (owner) on first try.  He offered to come from Eden Prairie to Woodbury yet that evening after completing his current job to look at job and provide estimate.  Very responsive.  He offered install options of Weds, Thurs or Fri of same week, we took Weds.  His crew was there on time and completed work in time frame he estimated.  Quality appears to be very good.  Very impressed with two day turnaround on job from first contact made.  Price felt a bit high (550 sq ft) or ~$1.50 per sq ft, although the furniture move added $175 to the bill.  But typically I'm seeing full install of carpet and pad running around $1.50 per sq ft...just a perception.  Bottom line, Croixwood pricing was in line with other estimates I'd received from the general contractor doing carpentry work in the basement, as well as the insurance adjuster's estimate, so no major complaint.

They were very good. They did a good job and finished in one day. It was very nice. The price was good.

Aaron is just a great guy! He is very flexiable and even offered to come in the evening hours,, I was very impressed with this. He gave us good advice about carpeting purchases when we get ready to install it. He also shares his experience with you. He is an A+ company!

Erin communicates very well! During our initial meeting he provided us much needed input as to choosing a type of hardwood and where to look for the vinyl and hardwood. It took him approx 5 hours to install the sub-floor and vinyl with the outcome being excellent considering the numerous cuts required to install the single sheet in a laundry room with a closet and entry door. It took him about 1 1/2 days to complete the Kahrs installation including the install of a base shoe moulding that I had provided. The floor turned out excellent - he takes pride in his work and it shows in the quality of his workmanship.

I was very pleased with Erin's work. Erin carefully completed all of the door framing work.

Our kitchen has an island and a lot of nooks & crannies which made it a lot tougher than originally estimated. Erin did a good job to take the time to make sure everything was addressed. We are happy with the job done- our kitchen floor looks great!

ERIN WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH AND DID A GREAT JOB. THE ENGINEERED WOOD HAD MANY LENGTH AND COLOR VARIATIONS WHICH ERIN EXPERTLY INSTALLED TO LOOK RANDOM AND ATTRACTIVE. HE COMPLETED HIS WORK ON TIME AND WAS FLEXIBLE TO OUR NEEDS. HIS LABOR PRICING WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND MATERIAL PRICING BELOW OTHER RETAIL SUPPLIERS.

HE WAS EASY TO TALK TO. HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

ERIN FROM CROIXWOOD FLOORING DID A WONDERFUL JOB. HE REMOVED THE OLD TILES, WHICH WERE REALLY STUCK TO THE FLOOR WITH QUITE A BIT OF RESIDUE GLUE, THAT ALSO HE HAD TO GET OFF. AFTER HE GOT THE OLD TILES OFF HE SAW THAT THE FLOOR WAS NOT LEVEL IN SPOTS AND THAT SHEET VINYL WOULD SHOW THE INDENTATIONS MORE, BECAUSE IT WOULD ''SHAPE ITSELF'' TO THE UNEVEN PARTS. INITIALLY THE ESTIMATED COST WAS $200 FOR THE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, THE LEVELING OF THE FLOOR COST ANOTHER $100, BUT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO HAVE IT LOOK RIGHT. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL IN HIS WORK IN MEASURING AND INSTALLING THE NEW FLOORING AND IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND NEAT. WHILE HE WAS HERE ERIN GAVE MA AN ESTIMATE ON HAVING OUR LAMINATE KITCHEN FLOOR INSTALLED, I WILL BE CALLING CROIXWOOD FLOORING AGAIN WHEN WE HAVE THAT DONE.

ERIN WAS GREAT. WHEN HE GOT HERE AND BEGAN WORK, HE DISCOVERED AN UNEXPECTED CONDITION OF MOISTURE UNDER THE EXISTING FLOOR. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS FOR THE PROBLEM AND ENDED UP PERFORMING EXTRA WORK AS REQUESTED TO REMOVE THE EXISTING FLOOR. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL INSTALLING THE NEW FLOOR; HE TOOK EXTRA PAINS TO MAKE THE INSTALLATION "JUST RIGHT" WHERE ONE WALL IN OUR KITCHEN WAS OUT OF SQUARE. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, NEAT, QUIET AND PLEASANT. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN.
