They had to return several times to get a 3-way switch to work in the hallway as well as to get the vent for the stove to work. They failed to show up for several scheduled appointments toward the end of the project, and ignored my calls, so I hired a different electrician to come do some of the work. My contractor then asked if Crocus could come finish some of the work they had started, and I agreed. They failed their inspection, and when they came to fix the problem, they missed one of the loose plugs on the list of things to fix. A few months after the project was over the dishwasher power stopped working. A different electrician came out and it turns out the dishwasher was improperly marked on the electric panel and is sharing the service for the stove wall, which it should not be doing. When I asked for an itemized receipt for the work they sent a vague list of items, with no prices broken down, just a total sum for labor and parts. I felt the work was overpriced and the company very unprofessional. I would never recommend them.

The electrician arrived at the scheduled time and did an excellent job installing a new large fixture.  When I called for an appointment they were able to come the next day.

Took 4-5 visits to get the light working properly. Electrician failed to show up when scheduled - would even miss a rescheduled visit. Failed to return phone calls. To their credit, this was a low dollar and probably low priority job for them and they did eventually get the light working at no additional charges. I never knew what the issue was as one day it suddenly started working and I don't know if they had been to our house that day or not.

Generally this went well. The original basement wiring job was done by a previous owner over 20 years ago. Not surprisingly, there were a few problems uncovered in the attempt to move them. One was not properly grounded, neither had an adequate amount of wire in the box, and there were a few other issues related to having a cinder block wall behind the receptacles. I anticipated paying more than the very rough estimate I received over the phone, and the electrician who did the job kept me informed of the problems as he uncovered them. Nevertheless, I was a little disappointed in the final cost. It is often hard to tell when paying on a time and materials basis whether the work is being done methodically (as you would want with electrical) or too slowly. I will certainly use this company again as I have been happy with their work in the past, but I'll be sure to get a firmer quote first.

GREAT JOB EVEN AS THEY HAD TO COORDINATE WITH SEVERAL OTHER WORKERS DOING OTHER PARTS OF THE JOB. THEY CAME BACK ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO MOVE THE WHOLE CONDO PROJECT ALONG.

GARY, THE OWNER CAME OUT WITHIN A DAY OR TWO TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE AND VERY THOROUGH. REQUESTED MICHAEL PAUL TO DO THE WORK AS HE WAS RECOMMENDED BY OTHERS. DID A GREAT JOB WITH A VERY DIFFICULT PROCESS OF TROUBLE SHOOTING ELECTICAL PROBLEMS. ALWAYS ON TIME, STAYED LATE ON A FRIDAY, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING AND ALTERNATIVES. COST OF WORK CAME RIGHT TO WHAT BID WAS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, MICHAEL PAUL AND USE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN. GREAT JOB ALWAYS ON TIME, AND LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY WHEN THEY NEEDED TO RESCHEDULE ONE DAY.
