 + -1 moreCornerstone did not complete the project as contracted Cornerstone sued the us, and put a lien on our property. On November 26th ,2008, The State of Minnesota Ramsey County District Court awarded $5,236.00 to be paid to the us by Cornerstone. Additionally, the State had the lien removed. (see attached court order PDF) Cornerstone has not paid the $5,236.00.
Description of Work: Cornerstone was contracted to do an addition on the house including, garage, kitchen, master bath, tv room, and basement.

 + -1 moreBILL NICHOLS AND HIS CREW WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. WHAT IMPRESSED ME THE MOST WAS WHEN BILL CAME TO OUR 2ND MEETING (THE FIRST WAS JUST TO GIVE HIM AN IDEA OF WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR, AND ASK HIM TO BID ON IT) HE CAME WITH SUCH COMPLETE IDEAS, PLANS, COST BREAKDOWN, PROPOSED CONTRACT, DATES. REALLY APPRECIATED BILL'S THOROUGHNESS. THE WORKMANSHIP -- THE WOODWORK, THE PAINTING, THE TILE-WORK -- IS JUST GREAT. THEY MADE A NUMBER OF SUGGESTIONS AS TO WAYS TO MAKE THE ADDITION BLEND IN MORE WITH THE OLD PART OF OUR HOUSE, AND WENT TO EXTRA LENGTHS TO GET WOODWORK THAT BLENDED IN REALLY WELL. A COUPLE OF TIMES WE HIT SOME ROADBLOCKS, BUT BILL TOOK THE TIME TO SIT DOWN WITH US AND LISTEN TO OUR CONCERNS AND COME TO VERY ACCEPTABLE CONCLUSIONS FOR ALL SITUATIONS. THE MEN WHO WORKED FOR CORNERSTONE AND WHO WERE MOST OFTEN ON SITE WERE VERY SKILLED, HARDWORKING, VERY FRIENDLY, AND TOOK PAINS NOT TO DISRUPT OUR SCHEDULE AND HOME LIFE. I WOULD RECOMMEND CORNERSTONE.
Description of Work: WE CONTRACTED CORNERSTONE CONSTRUCTION TO DO A ONE STORY ADDITION TO OUR 1919 HOME. WE ADDED ON A MASTER BEDROOM AND A SMALL PORCH AND LARGE ENTRYWAY. WE ALSO HAD THE ENTIRE HOUSE RESIDED AND PAINTED.

Description of Work: CALLED VOICEMAIL INQUIRING ABOUT BUILDING A DECK. LEFT MESSAGE...NOT RETURNED. CALLED AGAIN, GOT A RECEPTIONIST. SHE STATED THAT ONE OF THE BUILDERS WOULD CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO ESTIMATE A DECK. WAITED 10 DAYS...NO ONE HAS CALLED.
