CONCEPT DESIGNS BUILDERS INC.

This is the fifth project we have asked Dirk to do for us. It has ranged from building on two highly customized and detailed porches on the exterior of the house, to installing new windows on the second and third floors, to retrofitting some new cabinetry and appliances in the kitchen, to finishing the basement, to these two bathroom improvement projects. We love Dirk and his team. I cannot recommend them more highly - professional, timely, attentive to detail and quality, familiar with the quirks of St. Paul city regulations (and we live in the Ramsey Historic District which has added complexity), and their bids are competitive. Good friends have used Dirk on four huge remodeling projects and had excellent outcomes as well.

We had original wood on our staircase and it needed an update. Dirk was very professional and had two guys (carpenter and apprentice, I believe) working on our stairs. They were perfectionistic about their work and did a beautiful job. We get compliments about how great our staircase looks! I couldn't be more pleased. I would hire them again in the future.

I've used him before for a dormer bedroom and dormer bathroom upstairs. They've been great. They redid some things in our bedroom also. They were timely, organized and neat. I just didn't like the subcontractor for the roof. He is very good at taking your ideas and putting it down on paper and giving you new ideas that would help you improve your project. They are very honest and easy to work. We had these pocket doors that he put on but they didn't charge him for it somehow and then they came back. He gave us a complete pricing and they didn't include it in their pricing and it was $2000 more and he ate it. They were very nice and sweet guys.
