Great service and very prompt considering I live in WV and the business is in Minn. I knew Tom from his podcast and decided to give his business a try and got both laptops back and both are still working! Top notch in ever

Dropped off MacBook Pro one afternoon and had it back the next day. The software had to be updated from Leoard to Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion to Mavericks. Also performed all other needed updates. Tom called to ask about adding the memory and to let me know when I could pick up the laptop. The work performed has extended the life of my Mac for a few more years.
The price was fantastic for the work that was done. I will definitely use PC Central Services in the future

The service and value are excellent.  The time that Tom at PC Central has to spend repairing the computer was considerable (initial evaluation, repair of various corrosion issues, locating appropriate mother board replacement on-line, installation of new mother board) but his charge ($149.99) remained the same.  My total cost was $548.99 ($149.99 + $399 for mother board replacement), compared to the Apple Store's $1250.  (The Apple Store may have been quicker but only because Apple would likely have had the mother board in stock).
I was very pleased with the whole process.

The desktop and server were dead in the water.  I suspected PSUs, but I figured that they would have better access to parts than I did.
Both the desktop and server were able to boot after Travis installed new PSUs.  I had ATA, SATA, and SCSI disks in the desktop.  Travis pulled out the SCSI card (it does delay boot time).  I have not had time to put it back in to test it.
The Sony monitor initially worked for a few hours, but then failed again (black screen).  I brought it back in (much later, after a miscommunication in emails for scheduling).  Travis said the parts were difficult to get.  I ended up recycling it.
The laptop is still running almost every day.  However, the keyboard is for Icelandic users (I knew that when I bought it).  Luckily, I use it for applications that usually need only mousing.  I had a hard time time finding information for the LG on the net, LG seemed to have pulled out of the laptop market -- but that is a caveat emptor issue for / on me.
Small, two-man shop.  You deal directly with them.  I like that.  Tom seems to do intake, negotiation and billing; Travis did my technical work.  The work was done in their shop (it's easier to say my address rather than fill out the address of their place -- heads up, Angies, another choice wouldn't hurt, would it? -- something like t heir site, their shop, etc.)
I would use them again (although I have moved out of the geographical area).  I would also want to know if some additional surgery was required (like the SCSI card).
Apologies for the tardy review.

Working with these guys was a really good experience.  I'm not techno-savy and wasn't sure what I needed, but they did!  I prefer giving my money to local businesses instead of big box competitors, and these guys didn't say I'd have to buy a 1 yr service contract for $200 just to do a simple installation.  Their prices are listed on a dry erase board above the register, and I appreciated the visibility.
They got it done within 1 day and I couldn't be happier.  Keep in mind, though, they are CASH ONLY.
I gave them a B for Professionlism because their storefront was pretty hot and somewhat dirty.  However, if this is how they keep their prices affordable, then I'm all for it!
I'll definitaly go to these guys again when my computer needs service.

I was very happy with the work done. PC Central Services was able to diagnose the issue right away and I had my laptop back in only one day. They called immediately when the work was done to pick up my computer. They also installed necessary updates and cleaned up my computer so it is now running much more quickly without issues. The cost was exactly what was quoted when I dropped my laptop off for repair. One downside is that they only accepted cash payments but overall they were fast and did good work so I would recommend them.

They are good and fast.  They fixed the issue with my laptop and made it load faster.  I would use them again in the future if need be.

Another computer repair shop wanted more than twice as much to do the same thing. Tom and his partner Travis saw my husband right away after he called them and drove to the shop. They were very friendly and helpful. The computer was ready the next day! We were very impressed with their website, as it includes a very specific price list for different types of repairs. The repair ended up costing exactly what was listed and what my husband was told at the shop. If you need a computer repair, check them out! (PC Central Services has merged with No Nonsense Computer Repair, so this report will appear under both companies.)
