I remembered reading an article about a color consultant in the Pioneer Press this summer. I found the article on-line and contacted Kathleen via email. She was able to come out to my house about 3 days later. We discussed what I had in mind, and she provided several color samples which we reviewed together. She paid great attention to the color of our natural wood front door and garage doors. She left the color samples with me, and asked me to phone her when I had the samples on the house (sometimes the paint needs a little tweaking, depending on how good the mix is). I had a paint store mix up a quart of each to test on the house. Kathleen came back (I didn't need to be there) and checked out the samples. She then called me saying they looked great, no tweaking needed. Her services were very valuable to me. I know what I like but have a difficult time choosing. She saved me alot of anxiety and time!
