They did a really bad job on the bathtub. The paint is all peeling and now it has all come out and its still kind of sticky. If I use the shampoo or the conditioner it will stick to it, so that wasn't good. Also they decided to do the porch to grade but they didn't do that. When I called them back they said they would come back but they didn't. They introduced me to another contract that was awful. They charged an amount and then discounted it so they compromised on the quality I think. The price was good but they didn't finish the job completely.
Description of Work: I used CK Remodeling & Maintenance to redo the bathtub and do some deck work.

First off, I am sorry and confused you feel this way. You have hired us 4 times: January 2013 (before your complaint) February 2013 (the complaint) March 2013(after complaint) May 2013(after complaint) All of these were separate estimates on separate work. I find it hard to believe you didn't like our work but still thought to hire us. Bathtub Paint Job: We explained to you that you should just replace the bathtub, but you refused. So we ended up painting we a high-end poxy paint, which needs 48 hours to dry and cure. Instead you had your cleaners come and scrub the bathtub within 6-12 hours after our work. This caused the paint to bubble. Rather than having us do the whole job over you wanted us to try and fix it for free. This cost us $145 out of our pocket. (We have your email telling us this) The Porch: On every one of your approved invoices NOT one of them had any porch work. (backed by emails and your paid invoices). The Referred Contractor: This license contractor has been building homes, decks, and roofs from the ground up for 60 years. We have used them for 20+ years on our jobs before and have never had one complaint about them. He told us that you did not hire him and his crew because of cost (higher cost contractor). Cost: You claim we have a fair price on your complaint, yet throughout ever estimate and approved invoice you ONLY complained about our price. Unfinished Work: There was zero unfinished work on every estimate you approved. Otherwise why would you pay us in full after we finished? (backed by emails and paid invoices of yours) Once again I am sorry you feel this way, and also disappointed you did not try to contact us. If you felt the work was completed or done to your standard, you have all right to contact us to work out an agreement like adults. Instead you chose to complain about false accusations, which is upsetting to all of us here at CK Remodeling & Maintenance.

They were timely, professional, neat, and clean. They performed the work quickly, and did it well. I'm a tough critic, as my family is in the construction business. I was very pleased with their work, and will definitely work with them again. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: CK helped us with a remodel project - they removed dated built in cabinets from our living room, a fireplace mantle, a rock fireplace surround and hearth.
