Poorly. Didn't fix our problem after 2 visits.

All the refrigerant for the central air unit leaked out before the first summer was over. They refilled it with refrigerant. The next spring it wouldn't cool again and they had to refill it with refrigerant again and so it went for five years and at least six refills. Then the compressor went out because of all the moisture from the air the leaking refrigerant allowed to enter the system condensed in the condenser and rusted the system into oblivion. Surprise, the warranty had run out by then. Every fall and at least once a winter I had to phone for service because the furnace had an "E" for error message in the status window and provided no heat! That went on for four years until they begrudgingly replaced the main circuit board. They vented the furnace through the roof which then leaked for years and has caused a mold problem that may never be solved. A minor but really annoying problem is the new water heater "barks like a dog" whenever it is on and heating water. Except to keep coming out on repair calls at $85.00 a pop they never offered any remedy to all these problems. This company and owner are inept and totally incompetent. In fact they are down right dangerous! Stay away for your own good.

It went just fine. One of the shields the worker made feel down the shaft. He was not able to retrieve it, but then he didn't charge me for the time he lost by repeating the work. I am very happy with the results. The fire-stops look neat and effective, and I couldn't have figured out to make them on my own. (I had contemplated doing the job myself.) Our worker could have been more communicative. I wasn't always sure what he was up to. But in the end he did the work well.
