We had our old septic system replaced with a new mound system by Capra's this week and the process went flawlessly and the job done by Mike Capra and his crew was done quickly with all phases of the install well coordinated. The hilly terrain of our lot, numerous oak trees and large pond required a very technical installation. Throughout the process, Mike was on top of everything, was available to provide answers to questions and would kept us informed of anything he needed us to do. We highly recommend Capra's Utilities!

We asked Capra's to stay off hard surfaces because we didn't want the back hoe to damage the driveway. To avoid the driveway John needed to drive the back hoe up a steep hill. It was more difficult to do this than going up the driveway, and John did it without complaint. Mike Capra did the original estimate and correctly diagnosed the problem from my description over the phone. When he came to prepare the estimate, he verified his diagnosis by opening the clean-out. We asked Mike to fix the problem as soon as possible. Even though he was booking jobs 2 months out he was able to accommodate us 2 days later. While pulling out a broken pipe another pipe broke off. Mike immediately came out, discussed the problem with John and Nick, and determined the best way to proceed. This doubled the amount of work they needed to do. It was late in the day and neither John or Nick complained about staying late. During their repair they moved the clean-out from the inside of the house to the outside. The clean-out was originally located in the finished part of the basement. Even though the man hours required to do the job almost doubled, Mike stood by his original estimate. John and Nick were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and worked well as a team. We would rate them more than an "A" if we could!

Mike Capra was prompt with the quotation and a good communicator. This involved coordination between us, the city, Homeserve Insurance and his subcontractors for road repair and lawn repair. With all these parties involved, the work was completed promptly, efficiently and courteously. Kudos to Cory and the rest of the Capra crew. Luckily all was completed a few days before a surprise fall snowfall and freeze! We would highly recommend Capra's Utilities.

They were true to their estimate and completed the work in two days. The crew was very professional and took the time to answer our questions during the installation process. John went through the process of showing how the new system will work and how to check if the alarm system goes off.

It went very well.  Capra people were very polite and asked my permission for cutting some vines that were in the way (for example).  They worked hard and finished the work in one day.

Mike and his crew are amazing!!!!  Our house was built in 1933 and our sewer was constructed of clay tile.  Tree roots can grow through clay tile and it can shift which would be a huge problem in the winter.  We decided to be proactive and upgrade our sewer line to code.  The city was redoing our whole street and installing all new water and sewer lines.  Mike  Capra and his crew came out and went to work.  They worked hard!  They were amazing!  They thought it would take 4-5 hours to push the PVC pipe through our existing clay tile.  Unfortunately, our clay tile had shifted.  We had an impending disaster on our hands...which made us glad that we were proactive and spared a sewage backup.  It was impossible to push the 4 inch PVC pipe through our existing 6 inch clay tile due to the shifting.  Mike and his guys tried everything.  It was necessary to dig up more of our yard to connect the PVC where the clay tile had shifted.  20 hours of 4 men working extremely hard later, we had a new sewer!  Mike still charged us the amount he quoted us.  I cannot believe it.  I felt so thankful to have found him and would recommend him and his crew in a heartbeat!  He is amazing and he is a good person!

They did a very good job.  They were careful and did minimal damage to the grass.  They dug two huge holes, one in the street and one on the yard.

The entire job was done right.  This organization knows what they are doing and will work with you every step of the way.  I rarely encounter contractors of this caliber.  If you get several bids and are on the fence about who to pick, go with Mike Capra.

If you ever need a septic system, you want them to do it for you. They came in and from start to finish it was done in one day. He had grass seed planted that evening. We had tanks put in my backyard and we had a very limited access; they did a great job. I also had problems later due to a flooded septic system, they came out, found the problem and fixed it for me. Couldn't have asked for a better organization in doing that. I don't even consider anybody else. They were digging the hole for the new septic system and right along the side of it, they were assembling the new septic system while they were digging the hole. They were so professional; I have never seen an organization with that good.

We were so pleased we selected Mike Capra and his band of merry men to resolve recurring roots in our sewer line.
Their process of lining the existing pipe instead of digging up and replacing to the street saved us lots of money and
disruption.  They were there when they said they would be and performed the work very professionally.  The cameraderie
between his crew is further testament to Mike's best of class operation.

They showed up early Wednesday morning with what appeared to be an army of trucks. They had to clear an area so they could get their trucks around back and accomplished this feat with a minimum of damage to the surronding area. I will say it was a mess but they completed the entire task in one day. That entales 2 new 1,000 gallon tanks and a new drain field. They were able to reuse my existing 1,500 gallon tank (that saved me $3500). I paid to have them put down grass seed and cover it with straw. It is 1 week ago today that the work was done and I already have new grass that will soon need to be cut. Capra's did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone needing this done. Thank you guys. You're the best.

Mike Capra, the owner, personally came down and walked us through every step of the job and told us what we could expect from him, including beginning and finishing the job in one day. His crew was courteous, efficient and professional. Upon completion of the job, our property was cleaned up and put back in order. A sodding and seeding crew came the day after the excavation and the restoration of our property is beautiful. It's amazing! In fact, we have had a number of neighbors comment about it as well.

We needed to replace the sewer line from the house to main line in the
street. Not  a cheap job to get done. We tried to get at a few estimates
and either guys didn't show up or could not do the job( had to able to
excavate down almost 20 feet) We ended up with two estimates, Mike came
out and checked things out and gave us a good idea of what needed to be
done.
We decided to go with Capra's because they gave us the
best information on what needed to be done and a few options and what it
would cost.
When they came out to do the job they got started early and worked all
day to get the job done in 1 day. The crew was very professional and
talked to me about what they were doing. they had to dig up a big hole
in the front yard and asked about plants that would get dug up and
wanted to know if we wanted to save them.
The crew worked well together

They arrived at 7:30 AM and were totally done by noon - installing 300 feet of water line and hook up. Highly recommend them. The entire line was installed by underground boring with no damage to the yard.

All of the neighbors were getting similar services done. For them, the contractors would leave and the minimum was done. They all had to do some thing more to make it look like what had happened, didn't happened. When he was done here, he had changed a few things in the landscaping department that I had never liked. He did it as part of the work. When he left our yard was flat and didn't need anything extra. It actually looked better than when he arrived. He was on time for the bid, other people were hard to find or get to come, and the bill matched the bid. He was one of the lower bids.
