BRINKMAN RUSSELL

The time for the project was grossly underestimated. We were told the project should take about 2.5 weeks it ended up taking over twice as long (about 6 weeks.) Initially there were two carpenters working on the project and things appeared to be moving along nicely. After the first week, however, the second carpenter was committed to some other projects and we ended up with one carpenter. At this point progress slowed considerable and things began dragging out. The quality of the work was fine. The cabinet refacing was completed in a timely fashion by the cabinet contractor and looked great. We used Brinkman Russell on a previous project. The management of that project was spot on. On this project it was lacking.
On the plus side the final product looked very good.          

We initially met with Jeff (the owner) about what we had in mind.  He made a number of suggestions as to the lavatory and medicine cabinet. These ended up being partially custom made and looked great. The plumbing company identified some alternatives which helped control the cost of some of the hardware. The tile person was especially good at his craft and made a number of suggestions for the tile. The only surprise on the project was an additional charge by the electrician which we felt was not correct due to the fact that this was an existing circuit. We were not charged for this (it  was covered by the contractor.) A major delay on the whole project was getting the mosaic tile for the bathtub/show area. The delay was because the tile was imported from Italy. Once received the project was finish in good time.

THEY WERE GREAT, VERY HONEST, & RESPECTFUL. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY OTHER PROJECTS THAT I WOULD HAVE AT MY HOME. THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY.
