This is the 2nd Levelor cordless blind that he's repaired. The first time he had to re-repair but picked it up from our house and brought it back with no extra charge. No problems this time. He's probably the only person in town who can repair the Levelor blinds with the plastic mechanisms and his prices are reasonable.

One of our cordless blinds no longer would go up--it got stuck at about 2 inches up. They were able to repair it but, initially, the blind then got stuck on the way down at 2 inches above the window sill. They picked the blind up from our house and re-repaired it and now it works. It took a week for the initial repair and another week for the 2nd repair which was not charged for.

After 22 years I decided to have my blinds cleaned. I found Bright Blinds through Angie's List. I did not know what to expect as these blinds were old. I can say that I was completely amazed at the results. My blinds look like new again. I would recommend Bright Blinds to anyone who is looking to have their blinds cleaned. Five Star!!

Brent was great to work with. He was professional and knowledgeable about all types of blinds. He answered or returned calls promptly. He arrived to take down our metal blinds and silhouettes at the time agreed upon. While removing blinds he worked efficiently and made effort to protect blinds and surrounding area. He even made a small repair on a wood blind that we were not having cleaned. He took the blinds to his shop for cleaning and arranged for a quick turn around for bringing them back. We're very pleased with the finished look and the best part is that it was no work on our part! 

We would definitely recommend Brent for blind cleaning services.

They were extremely dirty because of constrution work done in my home.  The bid was for cleaning on site but the shades were so dirty he took them down, and cleaned them in his shop, returned them clean and reinstalled them all for the initial price of cleaning them on site.  He did 4 times more work than he planned with a smile and great attitude.
The shades were as good as new and with the terrrible condition they were in before Bright Blinds appearedI was more than satisfied. Brent did a great job I highly recommend him.

We have blinds over a large bedroom window and could not remove them from the brackets.  The cord was broken and the blinds needed cleaning badly.  Brent came out to take a look and give us a bid.  He wasn't sure he could restore them to how they looked originally but we agreed to him taking the blinds and doing what he could.  Less than 2 days later they were back up on our windows, fixed, cleaned and looking like brand new.  We couldn't be more pleased with Brent's work.  We have used him in the past with the same results.

The service was great. I had the option of bringing the blinds in to have them repaired, but the service charge to come to my house was minimal so I opted to do that. The person who installed the cords showed me how to do it myself so the next time all I need is to order a replacement cord. Great service!

Brent arrived on time.  He was very efficient in replacing the cord.  Because of that, I asked if he could take a look at the second blind that needed straightening.  He did that, also.  He was pleasant and curious.  I will definitely have him back if I have repair needs in the future.

It was an awful experience from the beginning. I was asked to drop off my blinds at one of their drop-off locations. I was told that within 24 hours I would receive a call with an estimate of the cost. Once I approved my estimate it was suppose to take around 3 days to have the two blinds cleaned and returned to my home.
After dropping off the blinds a week went by and I didn't hear anything. I called the owner and he indicated that he was never contacted about my blind drop off. He had to locate my missing blinds and call me back. Once the blinds were located (at this point I've been without my blinds for over a week) they were allegedly cleaned. I was told to leave a check on my door and that my blinds would be delivered. When I got home from work I opened up the blinds and found that the hardware was scratched and the blinds were still filthy. I contacted the owner to share my concerns and his response was, and quot;too bad, I don't guarantee my product. My contract states that you may or may not be satisfied with the final product.and quot; I asked him for a refund and he refused to provide me a refund and never offered any other suggestions or services to better my experience with him.

"Please see my attached email response sent to the clients addressing their concerns and their requests. I never received any response back from the clients to the email below. Please keep in mind these shades were taken down by the client and transported to one of my drop off locations by the client and a release was signed by the client at the time of drop off. I apologize that I didn't receive a call from the drop off location advising me that there was product at their location for pick up. This notification is usually done the same day and unfortunately I have no control over the when they make the phone call. Once notification was received, the job was top priority and expedited in a timely fashion. Jessie, In response to your initial email. Your two cleaned Silhouette shades were returned to your residence on May 2nd, 2014. Your husband [membername removed] did contact me on or around May 5th, 2014 regarding the note that was left on the bottom of the invoice "*Room Darkening Shades - Unable to remove set protein stains". He questioned me if the comment was pertaining to the "bug stains" that didn't come out in the cleaning process. I explained to him that the shades were Room Darkening and had to be dry cleaned per the manufacturer (Hunter Douglas) and there are limitations on this type of cleaning process, ie.: Water is not recommended, dry cleaning solution can not be heated, mechanical agitation is not an option due to damaging the finish- and the typical spot treatments can't be used to due color fading, etc. At no point in our conversation did [member name removed] bring up any of the other concerns that you have raised. I can assure you that your excessively soiled shades were cleaned in accordance with my Hunter Douglas certification using the proper equipment, chemicals, and technique. As I mentioned above and to your husband over the phone, there are limitations to this type of cleaning. The dry cleaning process is the only safe way to clean this type of shades and the end result may or may not meet the client expectations or desired results. As for the scratches on the headrail of the shade, my "cleaning" process does not remove paint. The attachment that is used to clean your shades is plastic, non marking with no sharp edges. Additionally, prior to returning the shades to the client, I take extra precautions to package the shades to prevent such damage. As you may have noticed, the shades were double wrapped in plastic to prevent contact between the shades during transport and delivery. Your shades were dropped off at Viking Blinds in St. Louis Park on April 25, 2014 for cleaning. Your husband, [member name removed], signed the release acknowledging and accepting the terms and conditions of the signed release. Do you have a copy of the signed release? Unfortunately I'm unable to honor your request for a refund for the following reasons listed below: 1) Your shades were cleaned per the manufacturer recommondations and following my Hunter Douglas training. 2) Per the terms & conditions of the signed release - "PAYMENT TERMS" - Release Bullet point #1. "All orders are final, no refunds". 3) Per the terms & conditions of the signed release - "WARRANTY CONDITIONS" - Release Bullet point #2. "Pre-existing coditions". 4) Per the terms & conditions of the signed release - "ACCEPTANCE OF WORK" - Release Bullet point #4. "Written Complaints must be received with 24 hours of job completion". Great service. Brent called back the same day to set up an appointment. He came to the house to restring my Hunter Douglas shade. He was on time and it took less than 45 minutes. Courteous, professional. Since I belong to Angie's List, the in-home service fee was waved and there was a 10% discount. Shade works and looks great. This was so easy and so much cheaper than a new shade.

Brent did a great job cleaning four white Duette blinds. He also did a few minor repairs. He was professional

I called Bright Blinds based on a referral from Hunter Douglas and an A rating on Angie's List. Brent was prompt, efficient, and courteous – professional in every sense. He came to my home, took the blinds down, cleaned, returned, and rehung
them in a very reasonable period of time and at a very reasonable price. My white, 9-year-old silhouettes look brand

Brent responded promptly after I left him a message. I chose to take the blinds down myself and take them to a drop off store near me to get them out of my house right away because the interior of my house was being painted. Brent called me when they were ready but my house wasn't ready yet. I appreciated that he held off returning and installing them until it was convenient for me. He did an amazing job! They look better than the last time I had them cleaned almost 5 years ago! I would definitely recommend him and use him again myself.

Brent came to the house expecting to take the shade back to his shop for repairs. After examining the shade, he asked if I'd rather have him repair it on the spot, which I gladly accepted. So, in ten minutes the work was done without having to schedule a return visit. He also found a small problem on another shade, which he also fixed on the spot. Knowledgeable and easy to work with. Took blinds to shop, when done they were delivered to the house. Took about a week. I had to take blinds down and then put them up again.
