Appointment was on time. Trimming was very professional , maintaining general shape of trees while moderately thinning and ensuring clearance from house. Job took about 5 hours with .three helpers in addition to Andy. Chipper disposed of branches, and landscape cleaned up perfectly. Would recommend without reservation.

It took a couple calls and then a wait for call back. However, once the connection and date was made they were outstanding. On time, professional, and the quality of work was great. Excellent value, and they knew what they were doing. I had about 30 small/mid size trees to remove, and a few overgrown magnolia's to trim. They did all of it quickly, on time, and cleaned up after. I'd use them again definately.

After initial waiting to hear back from our four phone messages and one email (over 4 weeks) to get on their schedule, the work was arranged and everything was professionally completed. Andrew Hovland and his team from Branch and Bough were everything we hoped for in a contractor: communicative, showed up on time, beautiful pruning, tree removal, cabling, and trimming. In addition they worked quietly, respecting both our and our neighbors' property while they took down a dead tree and removed considerable material. They adapted to our last minute requests regarding stacking wood and storing chipped wood to be used for mulching, and they left the property cleaned up and looking refreshed.

I was very open to when they could get the work done. They came and took care of business. They can be trusted to just do it on their own without having to be around. Cleaned up and and left everything looking great.

It was a large oak and a real shame to see it go. It required working with xcel and our neighbors as we had to drop the power lines to their house in order to fell the tree. We have no alley access so that had to trapse through our yard from front to back in order to do their work. They were extremely conscientious in all aspects of the job from moving some of our hostas that would have otherwise gotten trampled to the timing of the job so as not to give the neighbors red oak oak wilt because of the exposed stump. They worked the whole day on the job and requested they leave their forklift like cat in our backyard which was not a problem for us. They came back to finish up the next morning and Andrew followed up with an email. The job had to be put off from its initial date due to the possibility of infecting our neighbors tree. That tree is not doing too well, but Andy didn't want to add to or be a cause of further deterioration. We had a neighbor who wanted the larger limbs for firewood and the crew cut it up in usable logs for them. One couldn't have asked for a better crew and I can say with confidence it was money well spent given the labor I witnessed. Since they did such a great job, I asked Andrew to bid on a landscaping job we need done in the front of our house as this is a company that one can rely on to do great work at a fair price.

A very large green ash tree in my backyard had a big limb that seemed precarious to me every time we had a storm with lots of wind. It also hung low into my neighbor's yard. The Branch and Bough trimmers climbed the tree on a rope and removed the limb plus a few dead branches near by. The tree looked really nice and balanced when they finished. Many neighbors wandered by and enjoyed watching the tree climber. I appreciate not having spikes driven into my tree. While Luke and Dan were doing the ash tree, Audrey was working on the red dogwood bush in my back yard. The bush was planted in 1979 and had a lot of old wood that I was unable to cut out. Branches were twisted this way and that and she really spent a good deal of time cleaning up the bush. Birds love this bush so I wanted to keep it and it looks so much better now. Audrey also lightly pruned a large white cedar tree in my front yard that was growing too close to the rain gutters. The three of them hauled all branches and twigs to their truck, raked the yard and put the bird bath back in position. There was some question about when they would come because of all the rainy weather but a call to the office cleared it all up. Yard looked great when they left.

I will be hiring Andrew and his team in the future. We needed the large deadwood trimmed from 4 large oak trees near our home and backyard play structure. I called to have a quote done and he scheduled a time within the week. Upon our first meeting, Andrew struck me as trustworthy and knowledgable. He responded with a quick and cost effective quote for our project. His schedule for winter tree trimming was quite full by the time we met, but he assured me that our project would happen by the end of winter (which is important for oak trees to avoid oak wilt). On the day of work, the crew was efficient and skilled. They cleaned all the wood up into a pile even though my husband had agreed to clean up to save a bit of cash. Andrew did visit during the work day to ensure that we were satisfied with the crew and their great work. My experience with Andrew and his crew was excellent. We will be using them again in the future!

Went well. Bottom line is they are really good are tree trimming, fantastic. The thing that was hard was communication, phone calls, returning phone calls and just trying to get them here after a stormy season. They quoted me verbally a price and then 3 weeks later they sent an invoice that was higher. Still kinda disputing the amount. They were very conscience of the health of the tree because i didn't want the whole tree to be removed. They advised if it doesn't pose a threat, they would try to just trim and not remove completely. They were very safety minded. They were very detail oriented for the debris that came from the lawn work.

It took a long time for both of us to connect and to plan for the work to be done. I was partly to blame-- I failed to follow up on the initial bid, so we had to reschedule for the next year. But the work was done on the scheduled date, and it looked great. The landscaping was perfect, and there was no debris from the removal of the extremely overgrown former bushes.

The crew was very nice to have working in our yard. The pine trees required a very high climb to remove the limbs and top piece by piece, we were so glad they were able to get the trees down with no damage to our neighbors yard. Clean up of all the logs and brush was included in the job. We highly recommend Andy as a tree expert. He knows his trees and how to manage them for long term health.

Andy (owner) was wiling to work with me on pricing and come to an option I could afford. They showed up on time and cleaned everything up beautifully. I was very happy.

Andy had done work in my yard before, so I knew he was very knowledgeable about trees and plants. It took awhile to finish because there had been a huge storm that came through the Twin Cities early in the season. Andy told me it would be a while to start the job because they were backed up with work from the storm. Once the work started, Andy answered all my questions via email or phone. It looks great.

Trimmed several trees. Trees look good and our yard was cleaned up thoroughly. Very clear and accurate estimate. Only complaint was that it took several weeks for them to follow up with the estimate and schedule after the initial on-site assessment.

Perfect. Andy came to give us a quote and was extremely professional and helpful. Right after we chose to use them, a big storm hit and Andy (and everyone else) was very busy. But he rescheduled for the first possible time and we were very pleased with his timely response. The crew that did the work was very friendly, professional, and clean. They put up a piece of fabric to protect our house from flying mulch. The yard was left absolutely spotless. We will be hiring Andy and his crew in the spring for more landscaping and we highly recommend this company. They were one of the cheaper quotes we got but were by far the most professional.

Very knowledgeable about trees. Efficient and through. Some problems with scheduling in a timely manner - they are very busy!

Our experience with them was absolutely wonderful. The guy Andy was responsive. They came in to do the job and were really good. They were quick and thorough. They cleaned up and we plan on using them again. We have already recommended them to many other people. We like Andy and he’s well.

I did not use them because the weather got too warm so they could not trim the trees at that point. I like them. I thought they were really good. They gave me the most thorough estimate. It was very good. The price was a little high in comparison to the others but he indicated more of the sense that I kind of was thinking that I would like to have done. He was more thorough.

I called to have trees and bushes trimmed. It was during the heavy storm season so I was prepared for a delay. However, I was assured I would get a bid within two weeks and work could be done in October. Never got a bid. Don't make promises that won't be fulfilled.

Andy was very honest, down to earth and accommodating. We are most likely going to hire him.

Jason responded to my telephone inquiry the same day. He came out the next day to see the work to be done and give me an estimate. They were able to do the work in two days and were very professional and did a great job. They were even nice about having ground bees! I will use them in the future and definitely recommend them to anyone needing yard or tree services.
