Their work was outstanding. They were a little bit expensive but it was worth the work. I would definitely hire them again.

I was extremely happy with the service from Mendota. Jeff was courteous, friendly and competent--interested in my satisfaction and adaptable. When the replacement fan I had purchased would have required new wiring, I ran to home improvement store while he worked on another project. I returned with a cheaper, similar model to the fan/heat lamps I had. Jeff suggested we retro-fit the new motor into the old fixture, and then use the new cover plate to update the look. He was efficient and helpful.

Excellent. He was on time, he was knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining things to me. He cleaned up after himself and made sure I was comfortable with how everything worked.

It was very good. They came out the afternoon of the morning I called. He was very knowledgeable. He checked out a few other things. It was almost exactly what they quoted me over the phone.It was a reasonable price.

I did not hire them because it was such a hassle to speak to someone to get a quote.

The electrician (Josh) was on time, extremely professional, and a fast worker. He respected our home and left the area spotless and dust-free when he was done. The company's owner (Bryan) truly cares about customer satisfaction.

I was happy with their work, but I had a problem with their tardiness. I was told they were to be at my home by 9AM and they didn't show up. When I called, I found out that the person was never scheduled in the first place. They finally showed up at my home by noon and overall did a good job. I would use this company again in the future.

Called the afternoon of 12/10/09 to see if anyone was available 12/11/09. VERY short notice but Brian thought Josh would be able to make it. Josh arrived at 5 p.m. on a Friday and took the time to go through each item on my list. He was very conscientious, explained in detail why it made more sense to replace than repair an item and was efficient and personable.

Went well. 1st came out to provide estimates. They were responsive and informative. The main thing was the septic pump tank - but asked for estimates/ advice for other items. Josh came out later and switched out an outdated switchbox for the septic pump tank and fixed the 3-way switch witout problem. Everything worked well - staff courteous, friendly and professional.

They did a good job. They came out and gave an estimate. The actual work ended up costing about what they said it would - it was really close to the initial estimate. I asked them to do some additional work once they were here. The only hiccup that I had with them - it was my fault - was that I was out of town for a long time after the work was completed, and so they had a hard time scheduling the inspector to come look at it. They were good about staying in touch with me and reminding me that it needed to be done. I would use them in the future if necessary; if I don?t use them, it is only because I think that I frustrated the secretary a lot when she was trying to schedule the inspection; towards the end I could tell that she wasn?t happy with me.

I had called several other providers (who never called back) before checking Angie's list and calling Mendota Electric. They called immediately and came out 4 days later at a time that was convenient for us. The ceiling fan was installed in less then 2 hours including cleanup. I would definitely use them again!!!!!

Josh arrived on time and worked fast and hard for 4 hours to get this done. I have a 1953 home and it is surprise each time you do an electrical project as to what you will find. Josh improved the wiring as he went along, making it safer and definitely knew exactly what he was doing. He educated me as he went along on things related to the lighting I had chosen and showed me how to avoid problems in the future. I was so totally impressed with him and the scheduler Patty. I had called on Friday and told them I needed to miss as little work as possible so could they find a day I could be their first call. They accommodated me on Monday! I was very pleased to say the least. The price was extremely reasonable as well for 4 full hours of nonstop work.

These were little things, but had caused inconvenience. The bath fan was completely broken and out of date, yet the repair person was able to use existing housing, so there was no damage to ceiling plaster. The light for the deck was tricky to say the least. He worked very quickly and competently and was happy to answer our questions. He gave us advice and respected our desire to keep costs to a minimum. Problems were all taken care of and everything has worked well since.

We don't even ask them for bids anymore, we just let them do it! The workers are extremely trust worth; there is never a problem. They are very knowledgeable, know what to do and how to do it. All we have to do is tell them we want something here or there and if it is worth it put it in.

It went well. Josh listened to my situation, checked the outlets I was concerned with, and explained what was happening with each one. He explained what caused one of my breakers to trip, and replaced a bad switch at one of the outlets.

Wonderful! I was extremely happy with the company-I had service within 24 hours of my call! The electrician came out and offered suggestions that completely revised what I had "thought I wanted" in the lights and in their placements. His suggestions were great! They not only saved me money, the overall apperance & effecitveness of the outdoor lighting turned out much better than if I'd done it the way I thought! He was very professional and funny!

Went great! Josh (electrician) was awesome with customer service and problem solving. Always punctual and professional. Patty (office manager) was also great. Always a call back and correct information. Start to finish, this part of the project went off without a hitch.

They did a great job in trying to talk us through the problem without coming out and charging us for a service call. The lady on the phone tried for 30 minutes to talk us through it. However when that didn't work they came out and literally solved the problem in about 3 minutes. To our embarrassment the serviceman reset the GFI, ground service interrupter, and we were back in business. We couldn't figure out why only half of the outlets didn't work. We did get some additional value out of the experience. While the serviceman was there we had him give us an estimate on installation of a couple of ceiling fans.

I called them in the morning to inquire about the possibility of them doing the work. Patty was VERY helpful and advised that they could do the work that same day. Josh called at approx. 12 noon and said he was on the way. Josh spent a little more than an hour completing the job. He was courteous, professional and very easy going. I would (and will) use the company again. They were A+ from start to finish.

They were a little expensive but great quality work. Courtious and knowledgable.

The guy showed up and basically said I'd have to do all this stuff. Tearing through the ceiling and walls, this and that. He really seemed like he was in a hurry to get out of there. I told him I didn't want him to do any of that and he said ok and left. The guy was only there 2,3 to 5 minutes at the most and sent me a bill for $95. I guess I can kind of see both sides, it's not like it was bad work. They just didn't do anything. They charged me for the trip. The guy seemed anxious and in a hurry, so I probably wouldn't use them again.

Josh was awesome! Very outgoing and personable. He worked quickly and got everything done in one hour. VERY IMPRESSED with his job on the kitchen ceiling light fixture as some parts were missing and he was able to figure out a way to install it with parts he had in his truck. I bought the fixture at a second hand store. I loved it, but had no idea that the bracket to attach it to the ceiling was missing! Josh did a great job! Recommended we wait until Spring to fix the yard light as the wires will need to be buried much deeper than they currently are.

We were very satisfied with the work. They really exceeded our expectations. We very pleased with everything. They were a great company to deal with. They were very professional and really seemed to know what they were doing.

They were really impressive to work with. We had called them several times, and the lady in the office was great to work with. They gave us great advice, and I would use them again with no hesitation.

It was good. I called and left a message and the owner called me right back. She said it would be about 200 dollars, but it was actually less than that. The guy who came,introduced himself and he was very professional. I showed him where the electric box was and he was only here for about an hour.
