Service person was very friendly and helpful. Answered questions about other electrical work we're considering on our home and worked quickly and efficiently on the job at hand.

From the scheduling to doing the work they were right on time. They were clean. The scheduler was fabulous! She knew everything! A very pleasant company to work with!

When I called and talked to Patty she was very helpful and advised me of what I might need to purchase ahead of time to keep the cost as low as possible. The electrician arrived on time and explained what he did and why it was a problem. I also had him look at my washer and dryer that were blowing the circuit breaker when run together. Plus I asked him many questions about updating my home with new sockets, light fixures and light switches. He explained the best ways to go about each of the problems and explained the most economical ways to have the work done. I will use their services again.

They only installed one because the pitch on my ceiling was to steep. The electrician talked it over with me to try an figure out a solution. None of them worked, but he was very professional and helpful. The person I spoke with from the office was great and called yesterday to remind me of the appointment.

All the work was done well. He was on time, friendly and courteous. He was willing to work through the issue of old wiring in the living room, which at first he thought would prohibit installing the chandelier. But he kept talking with me about it and was willing to figure it out. He did great work, was prompt, and had a reasonable price. This is the second time I've used them, and I would call them again.

From my phone call to the end of the service, my experience with this company was excellent. The electrician was cordial, assessed the problem, did his job, and left in less than 20 minutes. The charge is $95/hr. when paid with a check, and it is more for credit card, and they tell you that up front. I will definitely call them again.

The replacement of the two new light fixtures was done very quickly and professionally. Our doorbell has not been working for two years, and we hired an electrician a year ago to try to fix it with no luck. This time I was going to have a wireless doorbell installed, but Jared researched the problem and found the correct wire, installed a transformer that a furnace repair place probably removed, and the doorbell now works. I was so thrilled with the work Jared did I wanted to hug him, but I did not. If I ever need anything electrical done again, this is the company I will call. All three of these things took only 1 1/2 hours.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEIR WORK WAS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

We have had Mendota Electric come out four or five times in the past two years for various projects. Originally, I found them on Angie's list and are very happy with their professionalism, responsiveness and quality of service. I have had 3 different technicians and all have been professional, prompt, and friendly. Also, I find the pricing of their work very competitive. We will continue to use them for all of our electrical service needs and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.

The electrician was courteous and even took off his shoes upon entering. He was very polite, and the company was able to schedule a visit within one day. The work and process was superb. I will definitely use this fine company again.

The appointment I made was through Patty, who was very pleasant. The electrician arrived promptly at 7:30am as promised (I was first job of the day, so this was to be expected). He was receptive to my questions and concerns regarding whether a new circuit needed to be added (which it turns out it didn't, saving me a couple hundred dollars, at least). He went on to do a simple installation of a GFI receptacle in the garage which went smoothly. Overall, a very good experience, although the demands of the job were not high. The price ($95 for 1 hour labor and $24.65 for parts) was probably concurrent with the competition, although obviously electricians have seemingly high labor charges (just like plumbers).

Patty Kelly was contacted about wiring a house for high definition satellite and additional phone upgrades. The people at Mendota Electric were fantastic in their service and level of expertise. I recently purchased a home without any satellite connections and no high speed computer service. Mendota Electric was able to bring the house up to current standards and I would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

I have very high expectations for people who do work in my house. The electrician met those expectations (he was polite to myself and my wife and he acted in a professional manner at all times). It was well worth the $95.

Even after writing a letter to the company explaining my concerns, I could get no one to talk to me other than patty, who answers the phone. Patty was very unpleasant. I offered to either pay the additional bill, and share my negative experience with angie's members, or for mendota to waive the latest (bogus) charge. patty prefers the cash. Watch out for their pricing, and failure to get appropriate permits.

First, the ''pre-work'' done by the office was great. They asked all the right questions and gave me an accurate estimate on how long the work would take. Second, they phoned me with follow-up reminders the day before service. When Jared arrived, he was on time and very helpful. He offered suggestions on how to save some labor costs, and was quite patient with my list of questions. Will definitely call Mendota Electric first for any future work.
