Great service

This was an A-team from start to finish, and was also the low bid on the project (a top quality metal roof) to boot. Dave is the consummate professional and fields a top notch crew. We have a small but EXTREMELY complex roof with two dormers and a chimney, a very intricate project (especially for metal) requiring much detail work. Due to planking gaps the old roof was covered with OSB, then membrane and roofing. Two flat sections required rubber membrane. Austad hit the trifecta of fast, good, and ... well, not exactly cheap, but again a highly competitive bid. I had visited some of their referenced work and spoken personally with one other very satisfied customer.

Followed up with me over a year later than my first questioning. My loan went through and we were able to initiate and complete the project. Austads were true professionals throughout in spite of inquiring minds and a multitude of cars in their way.

Had Steve come by and jump up on roof to do some minor repair on a leaky roof vent. Came by early to miss the rain and got the job done within 24 hours of contact. Friendly service all around, I will call them again, Thanks!

First Dave took days to respond, then the roofing was delivered to the neighbors. Roofing was delayed, and I was notified the first day. On the 2nd day, I heard nothing from Steve and had to call to find out. I was told the driveway would be covered with tarps and magnets would be used to pick up nails. This was not done and I had to pick up 100 nails myself from the driveway and all around the house and neighbors house. Front and back steps were not covered with tarps while roofing, so one had oil stains, the other brand new composite steps had gouges, tar stains, and a broken light. The corner piece of my siding had a hole put in it. My birdbath was also broken. Roofers left garbage all over the place. A few nails and little pieces of roofing were left on the roof after they were done. The office called before the job was completed to get the final papers signed, I had to tell them they are not done yet. Long delays and poor communication, a roofing job with soffit and fascia took about a month total. The corner siding piece was finally replaced, and a couple of hundred dollars was taken off the price for the broken items.

They did not try to sell us something we didnâ t needâ ¦ Great warranty and selection of shingles. Work was high-quality. Communicated when work would be done and Completed work in a timely manner. Protected roof when rain was forecast. Office staff and Owner were responsive to calls regarding questions. Cleaned up well afterwards. The roof looks great!
