Dave was great and instrumental in getting the roof covered by the insurance company. A plus for that effort. Then the price kept going up, i demanded a sow. That was slow. Then a couple of no shows, and finally work on roof was done well by hired me c ican crew. Very good work, cleanup was good. The last piece was the metal work and aftet 4. No shows, closed the job. Have to stay on them, but good work overall.

Dave is a great guy. We had called for an estimate last Febuary. He was honest and gave us a good bid. When we finally decided to put the new roof on in July, he was even willing to honor his bid even though it had been so long. He had us on the schedule within a week. The morning we were scheduled the dumpster, supplies and roofing team all showed up on time. They started working, but a thunderstorm broke out. They covered the work they had started and came back the next morning to work. Again we had storms, so they came on the weekend and finished. They cleaned up nicely and all was done by Monday morning. They were a hard working crew and very nice. Whenever we had questions, we called Apex and Dave or his wife called back right away.

They removed the snow and ice dam with no apparent damage to roof, but with some damage to the vinyl siding in one small area that I noticed after the fact. The price did not seem excessive compared to what some other companies were charging at the time. They did not remove the ice dam at first; I had to call them back to get that done.

They did a wonderful job. It was at the end of the day and they were limited for time due to needing daylight to work. They identified the key problem areas and did a great job for the limited time that they had. They made a conscious effort to try to shovel the snow down into areas that did not need additional clearing.

Very good service,In fact they were available that day so they said they would be there at 1:30 and called back to say that he was running late and he would be there by 2:00PM which is what happened. He did a thorough job on the affected area (not the entire roof) and our ice dam issue should be over

We got lower estimates of $150 (3 story steep roof) but felt more comfortable with Dave. He was the only one that mentioned a recall on the shingles and as part of the $300, took pictures and helped with filing a warranty claim. I highly doubt we will get anything meaningful out of the claim. Certainteed (mfg) appears to have problems with their shingles and even more problems working with their customers. There are class action lawsuits pending. He applied new shingles and claimed to have checked the rest of the roof and sealed down any shingles that were loose. Two weeks later more shingles blew off (FYI, roof is 8 years old) and, after talking with Dave, the cost to reseal the entire back portion of the roof is not much more than the cost to replace the shingles the first time ($350). So I wish we would have known that from the beginning as that is the route I would have gone. I told Dave I would like to proceed with this option. He said he would stop out the next day to look at the roof and give me an estimate to re-seal the entire roof. He never did came to the house. Since then, he has not returned phone calls. My wife and I have both left multiple messages. We have since gone with another roofer who charged $150 to replace the missing shingles. I would not recommend this roofer as followup service just simply wasn't there.

Roof looks nice. Plants were damaged more than I thought they would be. Many hostas were completely crushed. Cleaned up well. Worked late into the night, which was nice, instead of the work dragging on.
