The work has been consistently good and the prices fair. They aren't cheap but quality work seldom is. I've spent a lot of money here over the years and considered all of the work to be very high value -- I get the work I need, done well, for a fair price. I have older cars. Sometimes I want to keep them running as long as possible, sometimes I want to do the minimum to keep them going safely. The best part of All American is that I've never felt like I was pressured into spending money on anything. They tell you the pro and the con of each repair/maintenance and are willing to give you their opinion of what they'd do if it were their car. I had a car that was going to need a timing belt (major $) and before they took my money for that job they advised me about all of the other repairs I'd be looking at in the near future (I decided to trade it).

You know how we go to stores/ shops and either can't find someone to answer our questions, or they look blankly at you and say we don't have that? Not these Guy's they have the answers?

Honest, competent, friendly mechanics--What more do you want?
I have used All American Auto for more than thirty years, and highly recommend them. 
I first came to All American in the early 1980s, when I had a problem with the hand brake on my car.  I had gone to a national chain, which had examined the car and said I needed a complete brake job for more than $300.  I happened to drive by All American and stopped on a whim.   John looked at the brakes, explained that this car had a manual adjustment on the hand brake, the brakes were good for another 20,000-30,000 miles, adjusted the hand brake and charged me $5 !!   Since then they have maintained and repaired a variety of our vehicles.  We kept a Toyota Corolla for 17 years, a Subaru Forester for 17 years, and are at 18 years and still going on a Saturn wagon.  At some point when it needs repair they tell me it doesn't make sense to put any more money into a car, and that I should replace the car.  Since we recently followed their advice on our old Subaru, they are also takiing care of all of the required maintenance on our 2015 Subaru.  They have done big jobs and little jobs, and I have always found them to be trustworthy, both for their competence and their honesty.

Punctual, fast, efficient and professional. Also friendly and personal. You can actually talk to the people who do the work. Price a little higher than I would have liked, but worth it. I will use their services again and highly recommend them.

They were very good, I just didn't use them since another place was closer to my home and more convenient.

I was driving on the highway and suddenly my car was acting like it had a flat tire - really dramatic but intermittent thumping coming from the front wheels - but when I turned off the highway, I couldn't see anything wrong with the tires. A friend who lives in the area recommended this mechanic and it was within a mile or so of where I'd turned off the highway. I limped in around 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and was obviously at their mercy. The mechanic put the car on the lift and then called me in to explain and show me that the links had separated from the frame and were resting on the front wheel axle, hence the alarming sounds. It looked pretty dramatic to me, but he said it was an easy fix. I left the car there and they fixed it first thing Monday, after they got the part in. With the oil change, it was about $170. I was really pleased with their service and their respectfulness. I am planning on going back anytime this car needs repairs.

I think they have a ton of integrity and they are really honest and fair. They do not do what does not need to be done to our cars.

They do quality work at a reasonable price. They only repair what is needed. John, the owner, does some of the work himself and is very trustworthy.
