We are an association of 8 townhomes. Acme has been our snow removal service provider for about 6 or 7 years at the rate of $145 per month. In past years, the quality has been uneven, but usually acceptable. After this year's record setting snowfall in December, Acme cleared our sidewalks but was unable to remove the snow accumulated by our garages. Given the magnitude of the snow, this is understandable. It was 3 to 4 feet deep pretty much everywhere in the driveway area. However, they simply didn't show up. They didn't call to tell us they had problems, nor did they offer to help us solve the problem. And, they did not answer the phone or return phone calls. As a result, we were snowed in for about 3 or 4 days until we found another firm to take care of the problem. Their response, or lack thereof, was unprofessional. They will not do our snow removal in the future and we cannot recommend them to anyone else.
