Hauling
Did the work okay. Their ad said, fast, reliable, cheap. When I spoke with the owner on the phone he said 2 guys, $75/hr with a 2 hour minimum plus what the haul was. He was able to get them out within a couple hours. I had asked how much for the haul and I told him approximately what I had - he said around $50 but couldn't be exact until he saw it. Had them do it - nice guys. He ended up charging me $250 for the truck haul which I was floored by that amount and he told his brother to dump the load if I didn't pay that amount. I got a call from another hauler that didn't get back to me in time (but could have done it same day) and asked, if I didn't mind telling him how much the guy charged me. I said too much - $400 - he said that was outrageous and that he has been hauling for 27 years and would NEVER do business like that and would have charged 1/2 that price. Another told me $300 for 15 yards total. Abel Roll-Off is a rip-off and doesn't treat customers well at all.
