Travis is the real deal. He does an excellent job and goes above and beyond expectations. He and I talked about our deck and how we planned on redoing it so he told me what he needed to be removed so the paint would be done and we wouldn't have to have it repainted. I finished removing the deck and found that he crawled under the deck to paint the brick underneath so that it would be done...that is attention to the details - he listens ...hire this guy!

Travis was great. He was by far the lowest costing bid I had received and he did an excellent job finishing the work for a project I had a tight timeline on. Cleaned up after himself and even patched an area of drwyall that the sheetrockers missed. I will be hiring him for addition projects in the future.

"In response to your review - I apologize for any dissatisfaction you have with my service and the finished product and I wish this transaction could have turned out better. This is the first negative experience I have had with a customer in the 20+ years I have been in this business. It is also the first time I have ever considered placing a lien on a property, and is not something I instantly jump to. I did so to protect the time and materials I had invested in this job, and never did actually place a lien. As far as the woodwork in question, it was extensive mold on laminate, not real oak. Kilz is not a proper application for stained or varnished surfaces, and would not have provided a remedy for the 2 windows. I am unaware of the work not performed, that was never brought to my attention. I completed every project discussed in the bid, and a few things outside of the bid like cutting the grass. Thank you for expressing your opinion, I appreciate the feedback and will learn from this experience."

It went great. Working around the rain and employees working near the building, Travis was able to adjust his schedule to accommodate and finish the job it minimum time. Travis uses his choice of paint and the appearance is great. The trim required more work to prep but he took the time to make sure the paint would adhere. Travis is prompt and keeps us informed as to when he'll return to continue the job. A great communicator and good follow-up. This year Travis has painted two room ceilings, the exterior of our house and the farm building, all satisfactorily.

Travis was amazing! We needed 2 of the bathrooms and 1 bedroom painted before a big event, and he worked within our timeline and did a great job. He arrived at the agreed upon time, did fantastic work and cleaned up Iike no one had been there. He painted a light grayish blue over bright orange, with amazing coverage. He came back a couple of weeks later, as agreed, to finish up the other rooms. Just as earlier, the work he performed was top notch. We would definitely hire Travis again and recommend him to others. Thank you so much, Travis, for a great job and wonderful experience.

It went great. Travis was eager to get started and the garage door installers sort of slowed his progress. He power washed the entire house and attached garage, caulked seams, painted the main surface and trim (a different color). He was very prompt, asked questions for clarification and was extremely professional. We have plans to have him paint two more buildings before the end of this season.

Travis painted the entire exterior of my home (Aluminum siding). He is courteous, professional and very good at his job. He is also very patient. I chose a color that I ended up not liking and he was willing to redo it (almost half the house) another color. This added an extra day to the labor and I am sure this messed with his schedule, but he offered no complaints and was more than accommodating. The end result is that my house looks brand new. He also repaired drywall in one of the bedrooms and it turned out perfectly. I appreciate the time, energy and hard work put into this project!

He treated our painting project as if it was his own home. Prep and painting Travis did a fantastic job, very detailed.
I kept thanking him because finding someone who does such a great job is hard to come by these days. He painted our kitchen/dining room ceiling and kitchen/dining room walls. I was beyond pleased with the work and to top it off he is truly a great guy!

Travis did a fabulous job on our deck. He was very prompt, thorough, and professional.
We wanted it stained red and he got a sample of the stain and applied it in inconspicuous areas to make sure we liked the color before he stained the whole thing.
He power washed the deck and let it dry for a couple of days; then finished the job in one day.
The stain Travis used covered really well. It looks great!

No nonsense. Let me know he wouldn't be available for a little bit due to seasonal work already committed. Got there right when he said he would. In and out in two days, no mess left over, just a professional paint job.

Travis was professional and punctual. His estimates for time and cost were spot on. OMG! We are so happy we selected Solution Painting as our contractor. We interviewed 3 different contractors for our project. We selected Travis, not only because he came in with the lowest bid, but upon first impression, he seemed the most honest, the most knowledgeable and was very professional.
He transformed our entryway with closet, living room, hallway, kitchen, and dining room into something we never expected. It is beautiful! We have popcorn ceilings with the cove corners that we wanted to keep. They look amazing after he painted. We had so many cracks, holes, and uneven walls which he repaired before he started painting.
We had new wood flooring installed before Travis started. He did not get 1 drop of paint anywhere. He caulked everything before he painted the baseboard and trim around all our windows and deck doors. We had a change of heart a few days after he started and asked him if he could paint 5 more doors for us. I'm sure it screwed up his schedule, but he said nothing and took the extra time to paint them.
He vacuums as he works. There was never any dust or debris while he was working or even after he left. He is a perfectionist and very meticulous. He is very professional and knows his trade well. He started at 8:00 everyday and worked until 4:30 or 5:30. He even works Saturdays! He would keep us informed daily as to what we could expect completed that day.
We have another painting project planned in the future and will definitely call Travis back.

I would highly recommend him! He charges about $40/hr. He shows up when he says he will and is neat and tidy. He's been dependable and has done a great job!
