installed half my system, then told me that he would not be able to do the sod, but said he would come and finish the sprinkler.  I never heard from him again, I ended up leaving a message that he was fired.  I am stuck cleaning up a huge mess and had to find someone that would come fix all his mistakes.

This company was hired by our landscaper to install a sprinkler system for our new construction house.  This became a long process as the rain was constant and little work could get done. We get that. We had to get retaining walls, ,patio, sidewalk and a driveway in before we were ready for the sprinkler system. We finally had a stretch of dry days and could not get the H2O Sprinkler company out. They finally showed up, placed a few flags, dug a few holes and then left. We were wondering what happened to them and our landscaper told us he had been trying to get ahold of them over and over and they would not return his calls. It was obvious that they were not going to return after no contact for two days. We were forced to quickly hire another company who was prompt and responsive. I know the weather has been bad and business for this company is great right now. The test for a good company is how they respond in this environment. If a job cannot be completed for any reason,  have the respect to communicate. You obviously do not have respect for your customer. There is no excuse you come up with for this behavior.
